Hello everyone. Kia with you today, starting the thread from sunny Southern Ontario. A beautiful day to match all the beauties in the galleries this past week.
Spreading happy news this week are Robin (stamperrobbin), Kia (kiagc), Susie (susie australia), Vicki (vdm), Carla (Covington Crafter), Sabrina (Cook22), Linda (Holstein), Stacy (JBgreendawn), and Angie (ohmypaper!).
I hope you'll share your favorites with us this week, and bring sunshine to someone's day. Here are some of the cards I caught this past week:
If you are new to the Favorites thread, please read.
This is the place to link all the fabulous favorites you discovered in the SCS Gallery last week. Everyone is welcome to join in.
About this thread: The current week's FAVORITES thread is a way to give recognition to some of the standout creations shared in our SCS Gallery. Everyone is invited to post links to any special cards or projects that were uploaded last week, February 12, 2017, through February 19, 2017.
---------- Post for those new to this thread......
Want to post a Thank You? Please do not use the quote button.
Instead of quoting, scroll down and either type your response in the Quick Reply box or click the Go Advanced button. This thread will be easier to read without all the same link lists quoted again and again.
Paying it forward is optional: When you say "thank you," you're encouraged to also link to at least one of your own Favorites from last week.
---------- Need help linking your Favorites? Follow these steps. 1. Load this week's Favorites thread in your first browser tab. Scroll down and click the Go Advanced button.
2. Open a second tab (or a separate window). Go to the Gallery and click on "My Favorites."
3. Click on a card you have saved. At the top, highlight the web address. (It says Splitcoaststampers: Stamping, Stamps, Card Making Ideas, Paper Crafts & Template Gallery ... and so on.) Hit Ctrl+C to copy.
4. Switch back to the first tab and hit Ctrl+V to paste your link there. Hit Enter twice to add a blank line. Repeat as many times as needed for all your links.
5. Click the Preview Post button and check that your links work. Then click the Submit Reply button
I've a very sick laptop and can't easily notify, so Robin (Stamperrobin) is subbing for me. Ugh! Have fun, my friends. I'll try to post a list when repairs are complete. iPad slow and clumsy.
And many thanks to Kia for a great start, to Stacy who has taken the reins of leader, and to Robin for covering, on such short notice.

Kia, thanks for getting us started tonight! Big Congratulations to Linda & Fran our newest Dirty Girls!
I have been so bad, we finally have stopped "working" on the house ( for the moment, there is still the kitchen & the teeny bedroom that will become a library next to it) to do. ( when it's warm enough to cook out at night...)
I have spent the day hauling my coloring mediums back out of that spare room and here upstairs so, the sorting and reorganizing is ongoing to see if I can find the top of the table again. the push is to get it cleared off tonight though hubs has a milestone birthday next weekend. (and I have not made the card yet)
What a treat before I go to bed - finding my "Inspired Wooden Snowflake" listed as a favourite! Thank you for the honour, Stacy, and thanks for the notification, Carla.

Hello! it's been a wonderful week of challenges plus we have two new dirty girls this week! The Dirty Dozen/Fan club gallery is open and is it ever a sweet treat to behold! Congratulations to Linda Callahan (abbysmom2198) and Fran Sabad (fsabad)!
Hi all, no cards from me this week for the weekly challenges as we were down the cost about 2 hours away from my craft room. I did manage to get my DD cards done before we left but that was all and now I have just found out we will be away in our caravan for four weeks visiting my daughter and my sister and her husband in Melbourne about a three day drive away from my craft room when the first VSN for the year is on. I was able to have a look at some of the galleries though so here are some of my favourites;
Thanks Kia for picking my Spot On card as one of your favorites. Another busy week got in the way of my SCS time and stamping time. I managed only a couple of cards which is crazy. I did find sometime to pick a few favorites though and here they are.
Thank you Kia for starting the thread. Thank you to these wonderful volunteers: Robin (stamperrobbin), Kia (kiagc), Susie (susie australia), Vicki (vdm), Carla (Covington Crafter), Sabrina (Cook22), Linda (Holstein), Stacy (JBgreendawn), and Angie (ohmypaper!) for sending the happy mail to the amazing crafters on this thread. We really appreciate you taking the time to notify.
Thank you to these wonderful ladies for adding my cards to your favorites. I really appreciate being on your incredible lists:
Angie (ohmypaper!)
Carla (Covington Crafter)
Janine (Jay Bee)
Niki (Niki1)

Wow, Lisa, I am so glad you liked my inspiration card too. Thank you for mentioning it in your favorites. I just got some new images from Power Poppy and had to try them out. Printed the image on watercolor paper and think that is why my colors turned out better than usual for me.

Waking up with a huge smile to find Miss Susie listing 2 of my cards Messy Metal Impression & Cute as a button in her Favs.
These 2 cards are the 'most unusual' I've done to date, painting on metal, and as Susie mentioned ice pick & hammer; rather barbaric but makes for great conversation!!! Thanks a bunch Susie!
Thanks Kia for the happy mail.
Here is my list;
Thank you Linda (Holstein) for filling my box with happy mail this morning. What a great way to start the day!
My heart is doing a happy dance because the following wondreful girls found some inspiration in my cards . . .
Anita (snietje) - Aqua Chocolate Birthday
Marg (margscardcrazy) - A Rose for You
Carolyn (Snowmanqueen) - A Rose for You
Thank you all so much for honoring my cards this week - I LOVE this virtual family I have found here at SCS.
Thank you Linda (bubblestx4) for adding my AnniePanda case card to you your favorites list. I just love that watering can image. You made my day!
And thank you Jeannie (Lv2grdn) for mentioning my chicken card and my Easter card. Funny....the die that I used for the flower on the Easter card is the same flower I used for the chicken's comb. Have a wonderful day!
Woo Hoo! So happy that Denise (card crazy) included my Yoyo Yellow Easter Bird card in her list of favorites this week! Also, thank you to Kia (Kiagc) & Carolyn (Snowmanqueen) for including my Stamp Etched Flower as a favorite this week! This makes my heart Happy! Big Hugs and Blessings to all of you and to Carla for bringing the happy mail~

Many thanks, Kia, Carolyn, Marg, Niki, Lisa, Brenda, and Jeannie, for each mentioning a card of mine on your lists. I truly appreciate it. A double thank you, Anita, for mentioning two....and a triple thank you, Janine, for listing three of my cards. You all gave a special start to my Sunday morning. Thank YOU, Robin, for all the kind notifications...and for filling in for Brenda and her sick computer. You are a dear. Hugs, Sallie
Thank you Brenda & Angela for putting "Sanderelli's Daffodil" as one of your Favorites for the week! I just started my gallery so what more could I ask for.
Blessings,
Sandi

Thank you, Sabrina, for mentioning my Ribbon Fishie card! It's very gratifying to get comments on a card that's NOT linked to a challenge. I feel like somebody liked it enough to take a closer look, and that feels good.
