Ooops, The Joke's On Me. I'm as Silly as Can Be
Note: Anyone is welcome to play! You automatically become a Teapotter the first time you play in our challenge. Also, you do not have to write a story. You just have to be inspired by the teapot or by the story about this week's location! Have fun! The Rest of the Story:
1: Well, the joke really would be on me cuz I never can remember the punchline....teehee....But EliJames, now that boy can tell a knee slapping joke for sure. In fact, he's been keeping everyone around him laughing for years now. And, he's always got a new one or two to tell.
2: Seems he is so well known for his joke telling abilities, that the folks at that new fun show, "Short Folks Got Talent" have heard about him and suggested he audition for the next round of competition. Well, you can imagine how exciting this is to a boy living out in the middle of nowhere and thinking he isn't ever gonna get anywhere but the middle of nowhere either. So EliJames has been polishing up his long list of jokes and practicing his "stage presence". He is determined that this is his real opportunity to go somewhere and do something bigger with his life.
3: For EliJames, telling the jokes is fun but he really just likes to make people happy and smile a little bit more. He loves to be around happy people and he doesn't like to see people sad and feeling blue when there are so many reasons to be happy. So having a live audience is really his specialty and that's what he was expecting. However, when he got to the audition and found out that it would just be in front of a video camera and then the judges would pick the top ones to audition live in front of them; he froze.
4: RutRoh!!! This wasn't supposed to happen, this wasn't good at all. He needed people to laugh so he would know how the joke was going. Oh no....this won't do at all. He tried several times to tell a joke but just couldn't get it finished to just that bare blinking camera. He needed inspiration and fast....Shhhhh......do you think the committee would notice if 42,000 teapotters crawled in under the radar (so to speak) and laughed with him? Nah, surely they won't notice....
Challenge Translation:
Smiles, jokes, laughs and good positive vibes needed. No grumpy sourpants or you go to the back door.

If you have some good jokes for Eli to tell, send them along and grab an extra cookie.
