Welcome to February VSBN Challenge #4 - Music Challenge.
(I have tried to embed the video of Righteous Brothers singing it, but it won't stay.)
"Unchained Melody"
Oh, my love
My darling
I've hungered for your touch
A long, lonely time
And time goes by so slowly
And time can do so much
Are you still mine?
I need your love
I need your love
God speed your love to me
Lonely rivers flow to the sea, to the sea
To the open arms of the sea
Yes, lonely rivers sigh, "Wait for me, wait for me
I'll be coming home, wait for me"
Oh, my love
My darling
I've hungered, hungered for your touch
A long, lonely time
And time goes by so slowly
And time can do so much
Are you still mine?
I need your love
I need your love
God speed your love to me
Since I am hostess, I get to pick the song. It is our song 50 years ago and still is.
Here's my first layout for VSBN. I double dipped with Stash Busters and sketch. Wasn't originally planning on doing that, but the "V" part of Stash Busters made me think of a piece of vellum that would work well for this layout, so I just went for it!
Here's my layout for the music challenge category. I didn't have any Valentine's or love themed photos to scrapbook, so I got kind of creative in my use of the lyrics!
Used this week's card sketch and turned it into a scrapbook layout. It fits perfectly with that. Used the red, black, and white colors to do another page for this month's color challenge.
Finally was able to upload my last challenge layout for VSBN to the gallery! This is for the color challenge. Thanks, Sharon, for a fun round of challenges this month.
Some lovely layouts ladies. Thank you for sharing. Happy weekend

Here's my 2 page layout for challenge #2. Phew, one down and 4 to go and less than a day to do them......!!
This now takes my total of layouts for this month to 4 and my goal so I'm happy and ready to scrap more tomorrow.
This layout is the start of more pages of a tour of our son's favourite team's ground in the UK during a trip many years ago. I'm so happy to have at least started it as I've been staring at it for a long time not knowing what to do. Sometimes pressure helps. 😳
Thank you for this challenge and I hope I can at least get time to post a couple more layouts before the March challenges are set.
Happy scrapping.

Yay the site is back up and running for uploads. I was determined to at least do some of the February challenges and when I couldn't post yesterday after my full day's efforts, I was distraught ;) but all is not lost and I can share my LO's today.
I decided to do a double page layout which I could share and use against 3 of the VSBN challenges....cheeky I know but I think it meets the criteria.
This challenge is for:
#1 - Inspiration. The Poem mentions sand, waves, sky ;)
#3....Stash Busters:
L = Letters (very old out of my stash)
O = Orange Bazzill cardstock (again it has been sitting in my stash for years)
V = Versmark (I embossed some of the shells)
E = Embossing powder & embellishments (all have been in my stash for a while)
#4....Unchained Melody. The song mentions Time, Touch, Love, Sea....yes I know I'm stretching it a little bit but as I said above, I am cheeky
Thank you for taking time to look at my layout and thank you again for these challenges. Loving my scrapping

Here's another LO I made end of Feb for the Scraplift Challenge. As its predominantly Red & Black, I thought I would also enter it into the #2 VSBN17Feb Challenge.
Thank you for taking time to look at my LO. Happy day.

Great lay outs everyone! You still have time if you want to do more. March's VSBN won't go up til Monday. And if you haven't done February's Scraplift, you still have time for that before March's Scraplift Challenge posts.
