Flourishes LC order? Anyone?
Hi, I ordered from this site a few weeks ago. When I ordered, everything that I selected had high numbers in stock (48, etc). So, I got an email, but then nothing. I emailed them 3 x with no answer, and so then I called her. The lady seemed very evasive. She did not ask for my order number, or name, yet told me that the items I wanted were not in stock for a few weeks. So, a few weeks have passed, and again, nothing.
Did I get ripped off here? I have not ever ordered from them before, but I am concerned.
Thanks,

I've ordered both in the past when it was Flourishes LLC, and again once recently after the store re-opened. It's true that my most recent order was slightly slow in arriving but it came with a written apology explaining why. I do think it's a pity that the site software doesn't let you track the progress of your order, but I don't think (hope you don't) have any reason to be concerned. However, if it were me I'd contact the company again. Give your order number, don't wait to be asked for it, and ask for an update on its status. This time of year it could easily have stamps you needed for Christmas crafting and it's not unreasonable to expect a timely delivery of items that showed in stock.

UPDATE: So I have had at least 6 conversations with this place, and each time they are providing multiple reasons why they cannot get my order out. They never call me back, or reply to any emails and now I've asked for a refund. I am going to dispute my charges if they do not answer back. I'm very frustrated right now. I ordered this over a month ago, paid nearly $9 for shipping, and I've got nothing! Right now, I'm out over $54 and I have to get other Christmas gifts for the people who were supposed to get these!

Update! They called me! They got in the stamps, and they are shipping today - so I'm happy with that. I realize they are a small home business, and I hope they continue to do well, and have better luck with things in the future. I love their stamp designs.

I too am having problems getting an order that I placed on 11/25/16. I have emailed them several times and called and they have not responded to either. I am very frustrated as well and have asked for a refund. I never experienced this kind of poor customer service with them in the past so I'm very disappointed. I was very glad when they re-opened because I have always loved their stamps and purchased many of them in the past but if this is the kind of customer service that I can expect now then I will take my business elsewhere. I am out almost $40 and if I don't hear from them soon I will be disputing my charges as well.
I'm glad you finally got an answer and will be receiving your items, I really hope they get in touch with me as well.

Hi Kathi, Wow, that is a very long delay! I would be concerned as well. Even if you decide to wait, check with your credit card company and make sure the time to dispute the charge doesn't run out. I hope you get the stamps you ordered!

I had problems with both orders I placed with them. One time they missed an item and one time they sent the wrong one. Both times I had a horrible time reaching them-the email link on the site didnt work, so I had to respond to the promo emails the owner had sent me. Both times it was several weeks before they responded. The first time I told them about their email link not working and it still was not fixed months later when I placed the second order.
Both issues were resolved, but after the second round I have decided to back off and give them time to get their act together since I first ordered right after they re-launched. I hope they do. They have nice designs. I am sorry to hear this. I guess they are not there yet.
I also find the site hard to use-the pictures come and go and the resolution can be poor.

Update - I received a phone call and an email from them yesterday after I filed a dispute with PayPal for not receiving my items. They said that the stamp set I ordered was out of stock at the time I ordered it but they have it now and were sending it to me along with the 2 Christmas Paper Pads that I ordered. I don't understand why they couldn't have notified me about the stamp set and it also seems a little strange that all of a sudden they have it in stock and can send it to me after I contacted PayPal. I am going to back off as well and give them time to get more organized. I also find their website hard to use and resolution is usually pretty bad. Let's hope my order comes in the next day or so!

I had intended to place an order with them after receiving a few emails the past few weeks from them (must still be on their customer list after ordering from their previous store a long time ago) - but I can't see anything listed on their website - nothing listed under dies, stamps or papers - nothing anywhere. Is the new website www dot flourisheslc dot com? Was wondering if I maybe have the wrong or old website???

I do know that Jan the owner has been in and out of the hospital all year with different issues, the latest being she fell and broke her leg around maybe November? I also saw a blog post just recently that they were looking for new stamp designers or something like that, apparently reopening isn't going as well as they hoped. I loved their flowers and Marcella that designed all their gorgeous flowers opened her own site and is now selling under Power Poppy designs and they are beautiful, both stamps and digitals.

Her health issues have been ongoing since the first opening of Flourishes. There have been issues with artists and contracts as well. She did mention looking for new artists in a recent email.

Another update: I did receive my order on Sat., Jan. 21st. Their website was working back when I placed my order in November but it looks like it is being re-done. I still love their stamps and will definitely purchase from them again once they get things organized.
