What is a shoebox swap?
Traditionally, stampers would bring their project in a shoebox. A card or stamped item they designed that others could make and take home.You will provide all the materials for the project you design. One for eachparticipant the day of the event. Paper should be cut to the size needed. Ink,embellishments, and other items needed to make the card should be included inthe shoe box. Nothing should be pre-stamped or assembled. This project willgenerally be a full card, with layers and embellishment(s) or a simple 3D item.Please provide any special adhesive that's needed. Make these something you�dbe thrilled to get yourself.
Participants will make all projects and will move around theroom completing all projects. Please know that you will not be demoing yourproject, or there to help someone. So make sure you provide clear directionsfor your project in your shoe box. Each project should take ten minutes or lessto complete.
When our final count is in, you will know how many kits tomake. You will need to bring TWO extracompleted shoebox projects (which includes a hostess thank you and one foryour table so that everyone can follow it for directions). Participation in thetable shoebox project is mandatory with registration.

Each person who signs up when they register can sign up tomake a full card for group members participating in the swap. If we have 10sign up for the swap, you will make 9 full cards unless you want one foryourself, then make 10. This is a great way to get ideas, and see what otherscreative talents are all about.

Mail your registration form and payment to Andi Wrenn(address is on the form). There are no refunds, but you may offer your spot tosomeone else. Paypal is available for an additional $1.
Food � Please indicate onthe registration sheet the food item you will bring to share. Please bespecific; don�t just say �food�! Ideas: breakfast items, lunch items, includingsalads, desserts, and snacks. Water will be provided. We love to try your foodspecialties! We will not have coffee, please plan ahead and bring it along.There is a refrigerator, microwave, and stove available. Crockpots are welcometoo!!
�Garage Sale� � Bring yourstamps and stamping supplies to sell or trade. Current Stampin� Up! items mustbe offered for trade only; you can sell retired items. Sorry but we can�t beresponsible for missing items so bring things at your own risk. There will be aLIMITED AMOUNT of table space for garage sale items. If you are bringing a lotto sell, you SHOULD bring your own table. There is no fee to sell/trade at thisevent.
Goodies � for everyone! Everyonewill leave with fabulous goodies. The goodies will all have the same value withsome variations in colors, etc. If you would like to donate a goodie, pleasesend me a private message. We'd be happy to include a coupon or flyer as well.We will have at least one make and take project as part of your goodies!
Gift Swap � You don�t haveto sign up for this one, but if you would like to participate, bring a WRAPPEDgift related to our stamping passion. We will draw for those so that everyonewho brings one will also leave with one. Value on these should be in the $5-10range, and stamped projects are always appreciated! If it�s something you�dlike to take home, it�s probably perfect! Be sure to include your namesomewhere inside so the lucky winner knows who to thank. REMEMBER:Stamping-related!!!
Other Stuff� Please bring your own labeled items for your personal stamping needs,including your favorite adhesive. These are the items you just can�t stampwithout, like: bone folder, paper cutter/scorer, scissors, straight edge, stampcleaner and whatever else you can't stamp without! Did I say adhesive?????Adhesive! You will likely need lots of it.
Don't forget your camera!
Complete the registration form and forward with your $10payment ($11 via paypal) by January 7th.
All funds collected will be spent on the event,drinks/snacks, CHOCOLATE, and paper products etc. Your registration is completewhen your payment is received. If you have any questions, please ask!
