It's that time again! Time for the...

Best of 2016...Clean and Simple style

Everyone is invited to participate...and share what you found to be your Clean and Simple "favorite of favorites". You can share anytime in the next couple of weeks; we'll have the thread stickied for a while.

Then next week Debbie will start the thread for two weeks of weekly favorites: for the week ending January 1 and the week ending January 8.

This week, the notifications will be done by Debbie, Susan, and me. Karen takes this week off with her birthday being January 1. And we are giving Nancy a break for a little while.

I hope you enjoy my collection of favorites for this year. It has sure been difficult to whittle down my list! I wanted to try to share one card per person, and include as many people as possible.

This thread is open to everyone and is a great way to recognize the work of SCS's many talented CAS artists.

There are really only two "rules" here on the thread:

The Gallery posts you link to should be in the CAS style...

And what does it mean to be Clean and Simple?
It's all about the design.
* Uncluttered
* lots of white or open space
* one main focal point

...and they can be from the past year!

Did you find your way to this thread because someone listed one of YOUR creations as a favorite? In addition to saying thank you, we encourage you to pay that smile you're probably wearing right now forward by sharing a few of the cards/projects YOU favorite-ed this week.

Need help linking your Favorites? Follow these steps:

1. Load this week's Favorites thread in your first browser tab. Scroll down and click the Go Advanced button.

2. Open a second tab (or a separate window). Go to the Gallery and click on "My Favorites."

3. Click on a card you have saved. At the top, highlight the web address. Hit Ctrl+C to copy.

4. Switch back to the first tab and hit Ctrl+V to paste your link there. Hit Enter twice to add a blank line. Repeat as many times as needed for all your links.

5. Click the Preview Post button and check that your links work. Then click the Submit Reply button.

I was in the same pickle as you with "the list"! I had around 1200 cards in my favorites this year. Some artists were heavily represented in that list. But I downloaded almost all of those, leaving the ones that were "wow!" cards still in my faves. That left me around 200 to pick from. Still too many! And still with many cards from those same artists.

So. I love sharing the love all around! And you'd spend all day going thru my list if I put them all on there!

I love this thread!...and all the weekly ones! Thanks to all of you for making it so much fun!
