Default Favorite online general supply stores

So I'm just wondering, I've been devoted to SU for many years, and still love their products, although have been recently introduced to a new stamp company. Anyway , just curious what other online companies does everyone like/love for miscellaneous items besides Michaels and Joanns. TIA

I consistently read good things about Frantic Stamper and Ellen Hutson so I madd wish listx and each site for my hubby. I also want to try Joggles.com but that has to wait for my budget to recover.

I have Amazon Prime with free two-day shipping, so I usually look at Amazon first, to see if they have whatever I need. Many times they do, and at a good price, too!

Hobby Lobby has a website, often offer free shipping.
Scrapbookpal.com, Good prices all the time and free shipping at $25.
Scrapbook.com has great service. LOTs of product and reasonable shipping.
I usually wait for Joann to have lots of stuff 40% or 50% off and free, or low shipping. Some of their items are ridiculously high priced and not a bargain at 50% off. You have to tolerate their iffy shipping.
So many great small companies online for stamps, dies, cardstock and inks, but you mentioned basics.

Agree with the comment about Joann. I think it's because the brick and mortar stores focus on fabric and sewing (at least the one near me does). I stop by to check out their clearance, but rarely buy card making supplies there.

I guess my main general store is Amazon - which means many different companies. I also shop at LSS's when possible to support them (and they me!), plus shops like Ellen Hutson, SSS, Fran's, Hallmark, Scrapbook.com, Avery Elle (recently), ScorPal and many small stamp companies, like Rubber Moon, Riley & Company, Tupelo, and others.

Michaels and JoAnn's aren't high on the list, although I initially purchased items like an Envelope Score Board and Cropadile from Michaels and pop back in once in a blue moon, plus bought several of my favorite paper pads from Joann (and several others from Amazon).

Part of the fun is the wide range of options. But I'm starting to cancel some email subscriptions, because so much is tempting, especially when on sale.

Default Online shopping

Have you tried Simon Says Stamp? They carry pretty much everything, including their own brand. I love online shopping & use Amazon a lot, too, mostly for the free shipping.

I like SSS- they do have their own line which is fun, along with many other lines, Amazon, & Dick Blick! Of course, you do have to compare prices & to find the best deals. But, those are the stores I like. I haven't even heard of some of the stores everyone has mentioned, so thank you for sharing. I'll be checking them out! ;)

I like ScrapbookPal they offer free shipping when you spend $25. I buy all my adhesive there. This is much cheaper then driving to the big box stores. The service is very fast and they are very helpful.

Amazon and blitsy.com are 2 of my recent faves. Blitsy has great prices and free shipping over $29.99 (not sure if that's limited time or not)!!

I've spent the last few days cleaning and organizing my craft room, vowing to make a resolution to stop buying until I use what I have. After reading this thread I have four new websites to peruse and no doubt purchase goodies. I'm thankful it is still 2016, and I don't have to honor the 2017 resolution yet!

Living in Hawaii means most online stores charge huge shipping. That is why Joann and Amazon get most of my business. I just started buying paper from Cricut.com. There are online codes for 15% off with free shipping. Their cardstock and glitter paper cut beautifully in my die cut machine. They have some great sales and let me use the coupon on top. When I needed a specific paper carried by Bluemoon Scrapbooking, they worked with me on shipping. I love Simon Says Stamp and Altenew but shipping is expensive unless I find. Sale or coupon.

I love Paper Wishes as an on-line supply of crafts. I was very surprised not to see it listed. But I always check Amazon Prime first because I usually find what I am looking for there.

I love maymay made it and so did I. Her stamps stamp beautifully and there is a monthly club you can join too for $12,95 I think it is. She is a small business owner and we really should support them! I live in vegas and there used to be 3 great stamp stores but I only know of one, VivaLasVegasStamps and one fun scrapbook store, at least on my side of town (which is really Henderson).

Is she the Maymay with a Youtube channel? Can you provide a link to her store?

Here's a thought... if you open your own shop you can purchase items wholesale and resale the items to recoup shipping and you'll always have your supplies in stock...

Are you on Oahu? If you are and happen to be in Aiea, you might want to check out Stamps & Memories. They carry quite a few paper lines, stamps and dies from some of the more popular companies, inks, paints, embellishments, etc. A big bonus- Anne and Roxanne are really wonderful ladies. Anne also teaches classes and we just finished a series of three card and favor classes for the holidays. The next round of classes should start up in the spring.

I have several shops in my area; Michael's, Joann's, Hobby Lobby but I do order on line from several when they have sales...Simon Says Stamp, Scrapbook.com, scrapbookingwarehouse.com (everything is discounted), Altenew (becoming one of my favorite stamp providers), Blick Art Materials, Cheap Joe's art supplies, Blitsy.com, Ellen Hutson, Funkie Junkie Boutique, Penny Black. With all these options, I can get into lots of trouble!!!!! When new stamps or dies are announced, I keep a list of the ones I would like and then wait for sales a few months later. I rarely order anything as soon as it is released.

I use the art supply on line stores mostly for mixed media art journaling; Blick, Cheap Joe's or Jerry's artarama....paper, brushes, mediums, paints, inks.

I shop online only and the stores I use the most are ScrapbookPal, Blick, Etsy, Ebay and then I check it all against Amazon. I am often surprised by Amazon (both ways, sometimes the price is ridiculous, others it is the best price). I do have Prime. I am usually just shopping staples (glue, tape, etc.), artist supplies, and the occasional gotta-have that I've seen somewhere else or read about (like here, lol). Oh, and when I get a Tim Holtz jones, I check out Linda's store Funkie Junkie Boutique. Another dependable site is 123Stitch.com for a couple items. And when I have $50 worth at one place, Create For Less, Blue Moon Scrapbooking have free shipping. I used to use HobbyLobby and Joann a lot more, but hardly ever now.

For die prices that can't be beat, I head to wholesalecraftingsupplies.com which has the very affordable Gina Marie dies and other things, too. Free shipping on orders over $50, and reasonable rates for smaller orders.

I use Simon Says Stamp a lot. My fellow Canadians, take note - they have very reasonable shipping to Canada, unlike many of the other American companies.

I think the shipping rates from 123stitch.com are the same for all US addresses.

Haven't seen anyone mention one of my favorite..Star Lit Studio...One of the cheapest places to buy Memory Box dies and other brands....everything 3 to 5 $'s cheaper than other online shops and the lady that owes it will even try to stock something you want. She's very helpful. Prime member so do buy on Amazon, MFT has some of the best glitter paper I've ever use....not one bit of 'fall off'...tho not cheap it's worth paying extra for good!

It might be worth it to get to live in Hawaii; came home from balmy (for the northwest) Seattle to 8 inches of snow in northern Idaho. I would love to be in Hawaii now.

Haven't seen anyone mention UCutAt Home. Not as "general" as some, but they do offer a 20% or 15% coupon each month if you click to join. They will send you the code via email and also lots of discounted, specials and discontinued bargains.

I like collagestuff.com There's a good sale going on... Tim Holtz Christmas and Halloween items are now 50%. There are limited quantities, so shop soon for the best selection. Christmas 2016 http://www.collagestuff.com/page87.html

All stencils are priced to sell - $2.00 each. They are going fast! The Crafters Workshop Templates
