Can you believe this is our 8th year of Scrappin' Goal Challenge?! We sure completed an AWESOME number of pages together in 2009 through 2015 and I'm looking forward to MORE Scrap pages together in 2016! Let's keep scrappin'.
It was SO fun to chat about and see everyone's pages, goals and ideas for completing LOTS of scrapbook pages in 2016! Many had a common theme - get more pages done, use what's in our stash, meet new scrapping friends, plan time/crops...
What fun we'll have sharing ideas, cheering success, keeping the motivation and making new friends. Our scrap goal isn't all about getting pages done, it's also about enjoying the process! Please feel free to join at any time!
Here's the CHALLENGE. Each person can share their page goals, pages and ideas. for those of use who like Annual Goals, we will have a better shot at meeting our yearly goal if we break it down by month.
*In this thread, we track our monthly goals. We find it helps us keep getting pages done which is good for all of us.
You choose your own scrapbook page goal and monthly spend goal. You may select 2, 3, 5, 50 pages....you choose. The idea is to be flexible so if you know you're going to be really busy, you can reduce the number one month or if you're going to a couple crops or scrap weekends, up the number. This also works for the budget. Each month, you can change your goals depending on your calendar!
The whole goal of the challenge is to get lots of pages done all the while enjoying sharing with Virtual Friends.
Are you UP for the CHALLENGE? Come and Play in the 2016 Scrapbook Challenge! Here's to Meeting our Scrapping Goals & Meeting New Friends!
We'd love to "oohh" and "aahh" over your pages so please post with key word "sbc16dec"

For December, we're going to "trial" a new 2017 VSBN Format. The plan is to have 5 challenges posted the first Monday of Every month. You'll have the entire month to finish the challenge.
We're hoping this plan provides consistency and gives us that "first of the month" fun to look forward to each month. If you'd like to be a VSBN Hostess for one of the month's, let me know and we'll get the schedule put together.
After December's VSBN "trial" let me know what you think :o
sorry for the late post, one of my team mates had an emergency, and I had to cover for him at a customer event. It made for a very, very long day, leaving at 0700 and arriving home at 0100 ... whew!
I'm off to a CTMH Event in MI tomorrow ;) Looking forward to fun

Hello again! Well it is officially crunch time to get these calendars done, so that means I have to get 18 pages done before like... Dec 20. So yeay for getting this super simple one done yesterday! November 2017- B
Aside from scrapping, we moved in to our house Friday November 25th, and the baby is 11 weeks old now! Today we spent moving all the boxes inside the house (instead of the garage) so of course I am suddenly motivated with lots of scrappy ideas...! haha....

2024 Scrapping Goals: May: 26/20; April:11; 2024: 72/125
My YTD is 83 I am not making any goals for this month at all. Hubby has been back to the hospital twice since my last post so I has been pretty hectic here.

I'm going to try to shoot for 14 pages this month! I know, it will probably not happen, but I would love to see 150 pages done for the year. If not, that's ok too since I've already surpassed my ytd goal.
Dec goal: 14
YTD total: 136

I surprised myself by meeting my goal for Nov. and went over by 2.
Current YTD is 91
Wish I could make it to 100 for the year's end, but I'm setting a goal of 4 pages this month. I will be flying out to Arizona to be with Tiny Tot, her baby brother and mommy and daddy on the 19th. It will be an awesome Christmas! There will not be much scrapping between now and then and none until I get back home Jan 6.
Patti, prayers for your family!

I had several layouts that I did over Thanksgiving weekend that I never got posted here...and then now I have a layout that's been sitting on my desk for a solid week waiting for me to glue things down. I kinda go in spurts I think, get a whole bunch done at once and then nothing for a while--though lately that's been because I've been so busy with other stuff.
I'm at 117 right now, not setting a specific goal for December so I'll just be happy with whatever I manage to get done.
Well if you panic at your to-do list, and put the baby in a sling on a sleep-all-day-growth-spurt kind of day, you can get a lot of digital scrapping done! haha! I updated the five pages I did for my inlaws earlier in the year, to include pictures of the baby, and got six new pages done! Some are very simple, even for my standards ;) but they're done!!
I'm not going to upload the edited ones, but they will be on my blog throughout the month if you're really curious. ;)
I also managed to play with two VSBN challenges with my pages, so I'm pretty excited!
I'm so excited, y'all. This year I finally managed to track down at least one copy of every Christmas letter I've written since I got married (in 2003)....and today, I put them all in a scrapbook! I kept it real simple, each page just has one year's Christmas letter and then the year is die-cut along the border. I dug into some very old stash for patterned paper. So that means I made 13 scrapbook pages today, and I'll finish up the last two when I get this year's letter written So glad I have those all collected in one place--FINALLY!

That is so special! Last year was the first time I ever did a Christmas letter which I only sent to a few family and friends. I looked for the file on my PC a week or so ago and of course I can't find it! Haven't a clue what I did with it. Glad you got copies of all of yours and to think that next year it will be extra special

Now that I've got the book started, it shouldn't be THAT hard to do one more page every year so I don't lose any of the Christmas letters There were one or two years that I only had a single copy of the letter, and the digital copy is long gone, so I'm really glad I managed to get this done now.
Anyway, I've got a few layouts uploaded! Hoping to work on more this week after I get through some things on my to-do list.
I've gotten four more calendar pages done! My inlaws' calendar is completely done and I even submitted it to the printer already. Hoping to get my parents done this weekend...! The house projects seem never ending tho. Today my husband is installing the garage door opener! Can't wait to use it!! ;)
Not setting any goals this month since it's going to be busy and I don't know if scrapping will factor in my life very much! But I did get a Scrapbook Sketch posted, so hope you have fun with it.
...well... for all you ladies in the North, at least it's great "stay at home and scrap weather"! We have about 6 inches of snow here so far today, probably more coming tonight. It was time to clean out closets and organize the Scrap Room! It's so clean in here now, I can vacuum the floor, LOL! Now to get some MOJO to get started ....
Yay Tanya for the completed Calendars! I'm sure your family looks forward to getting this gift, I always enjoy seeing what you come up with

Terry, your holiday party idea sure sounds more fun to me! Hope everyone is having a fun December, even though it seems like we are all busy. I just finished making a bunch of greeting cards as a gift for my mom (she likes to send out handmade cards and it's even more fun if she can brag that her DD made them - LOL!), so I have some time to sit down and work on scrapbooking. Trying to get my last few pages done from 2013. I have four single and one double page layouts to complete, and I hope to get them done before year's end. Plus I hope to incorporate some VSBN challenges. So even though I said I wasn't setting myself a goal this month, I guess I am. Anyone else scrapbooking this week?
I'm trying to get a little done each day this week because then it's going to be a long two weeks with the kids hone for winter break. I may get some scrappy time in then, but I'm not counting on it unless I bribe them with t.v. and video games - LOL!
BTW, no one has posted in the scrapbook gallery since the 14th! Who will be the first to post, Lela or me? Or some mystery poster who swoops in to break the trend? ;) Off to work on my layout.
I just posted another sketch. Hopefully someone needs another double page sketch, because that's what I created. Enjoy my little Christmas present, my scrappy friends!
I made it ....it's time for Vacation until Jan 3!! I love time off at the holiday. I'm sure I'll have lots of time to Scrap next week, at least that's the plan ;)
Woohoo .... I love this time of year for Crafty Fun ....

Hope everyone had a great holiday weekend! I've been enjoying spending time with my hubster, but that means I'm not hanging out in the basement working on scrapbook pages. I've got a layout in progress on my desk right now though so hopefully it will get done in the very near future. And this week I need to make a pair of pages to frame for some friends for their Christmas present--they're out of town until after the new year so I didn't worry about getting them done earlier. Have a scrappy day y'all!
Hope everyone had a great Christmas! Hoping, you all will be back soon to scrapping. I am headed over to my craftroom tonight. Need to do one more VSBN LO and one for Cheryl's sketch. Hope to see you all here soon!
Scrapping my last 2013 layout today - woohoo! Instead of starting on 2014, I decided to go back and scrap vacation photos from 2011, and as I went through some of the photos from Mesa Verde, I realized I'm having a hard time remembering details. My hubby tends to take tons of pictures, and all the ruins at Mesa Verde are starting to look alike to me! Guess I need to search for the pamphlets from the trip to see if they can give me some help.
