Scrappin' Challenge 2016

Can you believe this is our 8th year of Scrappin' Goal Challenge?! We sure completed an AWESOME number of pages together in 2009 through 2015 and I'm looking forward to MORE Scrap pages together in 2016! Let's keep scrappin'.

It was SO fun to chat about and see everyone's pages, goals and ideas for completing LOTS of scrapbook pages in 2016! Many had a common theme - get more pages done, use what's in our stash, meet new scrapping friends, plan time/crops...

What fun we'll have sharing ideas, cheering success, keeping the motivation and making new friends. Our scrap goal isn't all about getting pages done, it's also about enjoying the process! Please feel free to join at any time!

Here's the CHALLENGE. Each person can share their page goals, pages and ideas. for those of use who like Annual Goals, we will have a better shot at meeting our yearly goal if we break it down by month.

*In this thread, we track our monthly goals. We find it helps us keep getting pages done which is good for all of us.

You choose your own scrapbook page goal and monthly spend goal. You may select 2, 3, 5, 50 pages....you choose. The idea is to be flexible so if you know you're going to be really busy, you can reduce the number one month or if you're going to a couple crops or scrap weekends, up the number. This also works for the budget. Each month, you can change your goals depending on your calendar!

The whole goal of the challenge is to get lots of pages done all the while enjoying sharing with Virtual Friends.

I'm going to shoot for ten again this month, even though I probably will only do 7! I have a card workshop that I'm designing cards for, so that will take up some of my time, but hopefully I can still crank out a few layouts after that.

I didn't reach my goal last month either - only managed 5/8.

This month I'm going to shoot for 8 again and hopefully surpass it!

Whew ... looks like I might have some scrappin' time over the holiday, my boys are all coming home ... but they won't "be home" if you know what I mean, haha! I get the moments in-between time they're with friends

I had a TERRIFIC time at the Crop I went to. I finished 21 pages! Super fun, still got some MOJO left but no scrappin' until Friday.

I'm busy designing cards for my Christmas card workshop, but I will try to carve out time today to design a scrapbooking sketch for you ladies to play with this weekend. Just came down with a cold which means I'm not feeling at the top of my game, so be patient with me if I can't get the mojo together today to get the sketch done!

Did not meet October's goal. Didn't even come close. I have excuses, but I'm sure you have your own - haha.

For November, I'm setting my goal at 6 layouts. My current YTD is 83.

Hello again! I got a calendar page done, which means I did some scrapbooking! haha! I did the October page because I had costume pics of all the grandkids! October 2017- B

I have a few layouts done and one sitting on my desk that needs to be "glued" down but I have been so sick with the "crud"...I even got the flu and pneumonia shots this year and still got sick. Just walking across the room throws me into a coughing fit. I feel so bad that I haven't been in my craft room for a few days...now that is sick!

Hey scrappy friends, I'm jumping back in...I didn't make *anything* at all for about 6 weeks but towards the end of October I finally got back in my craft room. And now I'm trying to scrap as much as I can before my little one arrives in February! I'm at 95 YTD right now, so...let's say 10 pages for November.

Hi everyone! No scrapping goals for the month. Update on my DH's surgery (open heart), it went well he stayed in hospital for 7 days came home for 1 1/2 days and he got to take an ambulance ride back to hospital. I must tell you that was the most frightened I have ever been in my life. After a slight set back and 4 more days in the hospital he is home and on the road to recovery. Praise God for all his blessings! Hope to get some scrapping done soon!

Well, I'm back from 4 days out in IL / KY! Home until Monday so Sat/Sun I need to get some "serious" scrappin' and stampin' done! I picked up a box of recently printed picts and have them laid out ready to go on pages this weekend!

First though tomorrow, exercise class, I've been slacking for awhile but need to get back to daily workouts. Ehhh, I'd just rather eat ice cream, haha!

Scrap On Sisters

I find it difficult to both scrap/craft and get exercize! It seems to be one or the other because they both take time.


I need a desk like my Son in law. He has a desk for computer all on a treadmill. He walks and works at home while on the tredmill. Quite big, too. But he gets his steps! I have a photo of him on it, that I should scrap. LOL

Me too Sharon, it's one or the other ... but I've been slacking in the Exercise dept lately, ugh. Not good. I have to stay with it ....

I "announced" it on my blog back in August but I haven't been around here in a few months Little boy is due February 4, which happens to be smack in between my birthday in January and my hubs' on Valentine's Day.

Going to try to get some layouts uploaded and linked here...but I also have dogs to walk.
