Hello Color Challenge Fans! Thanks to all who participated in our big
600th celebration last week. We had 83 cards submitted for the card event.
We did mention that each hostess was offering a small prize to their favorite card from last week. So without further ado let's see who the faves were.
Barbara's colors were: old olive daffodil delight and mossy meadow. She really liked this card from
Colorin'Kate. Barbara said: "It was hard to pick just one favorite, but I had to go with this sunflower image, colored so exquisitely with colored pencils. You can see the sun shining on the petals! Kate's gallery is inspirational!"
Karen's colors were: cherry cobbler, old olive and soft sky. This whimsical little cutie from
Francie aka f.schles caught her eye.
Karen said: "This card makes me feel like taking a walk through the colorful posies in the deep woods and stopping at the magical cottage for tea and honey - It just makes me happy!"
Mary's colors were: smoky slate, coastal cabana and Bermuda bay. I found this striking work of art from
Pam aka bailmac. Mary said: "
I loved the background Pam created with the challenge colors on her glossy paper. She achieved such an artsy on-trend look".
Maura's colors were: melon mambo, pretty in pink and pumpkin pie. This bit of loveliness entitled
"my wedding bouquet" from
Jennifrann was her fave.
Maura said: "I love the sweetness of this card - so much to like! The pretty flowers with the added sparkle, the sparkling ring on the woman's hand, the painted nail polish - a fabulous creation! Love it!"
Vicki's colors were: calypso coral, so saffron and crisp cantaloupe. She chose this stunner from
Pat aka pvilbaum.
Vicki said: "I totally loved her coloring and her background is fabulous".
We have one more prize to award. I mentioned last week that you had the option of making a card for all 5 of the color combos. There were 3 stampers that made 5 cards.
