Default Yeah!!!! Just got my Twinkling H2Os in the mail!

Woohoo! a new toy! I recommend going through the website that I ordered them from...I ordered on Saturday and got them today. That's pretty good with Monday being a holiday. This site also has these, plus other items on sale! The site is:

OMG! These colors are so beautiful! I just tried every color on a piece of scrap paper. If you love to watercolor I highly recommend them! They have a shimmer to them...almost metallic, but subtle! I got the 24 pack of the small jars. I can't remember the item # off hand, but some of the colors are black cherry, sunflower, orange peel, etc. This set has every color I would want...but there isn't a silver color and I'm not sure if they even make a silver color? Anyway...I would recommend this as a good starter set. It's only $30.50 for the 24 color set...that's like $8 cheaper than the other sites!

Can you tell I'm excited and hyped up about these????

Must get back to playing...just had to report how beautiful they are

****Jumping up and down with excitement*****

Okay, I must have missed something somewhere. What are these and how do you use them? What is all the excitement about?

Dawn...go to the link I put in my first post and then click on twinkling h2o's. It will show what they are...basicly they are a type of watercolor with mica in them to give them shimmer.

I went to the sight and I still don't get it. I was hoping they'd be described. Is it paint?

I have them and I love them!!! You use them with a paintbrush and water. Just get your brush wet and dip it in the color you want. Very easy. They create a shimmer to your paper. I love the color selection!! I use mine all the time.

Well I'm glad I could add to your addiction! I love to color....especially watercoloring!

Dawn...these are watercolor with a shimmer. You use them just as you would a box of watercolor paints. They are a solid and when you apply water to them they work like watercolors.

I hope this helps

Yes! That really helped alot your describing them. I feel like I'm always way behind on the trends. I'm just now starting to use eyelets and other new techniques.

I definitely will have to order some to try!

Sorry, this could be a dumb question but....
are these similar to the Pearl Ex powders? How are they different... is it that they come in a solid form?
I went to that website and they look somewhat similar to little jars of PearlEx I see at Michaels etc.
Thanks!

Default H2o's

Andrea,
Twinkling H2O's are like little pots of sparkling cakes of watercolor.
They are not a powder, as PearlEx is.

It is so much easier to use these little pots than to mix water with pearlex.

I have just received the first set of 24 yesterday and I love them so much, I've ordered the second set of 24.

Luv 'em!
NY Nan

Default H20s

Hi Stampcrazygirl,

I love the look of the H20s and would love to order some. I was thinking of ordering the 5 oz pots so that I could get all of the colors as they are a littler less expensive. However, I am not sure how long 5 ounces would last. Perhaps I should order the 10 ounce size though I would not be able to get all of the colors right away. What do you suggest?
