Default How can I search for this?

Not sure it is the right forum, but wanted to see more examples of these, and not sure how to search for it in the gallery. Thanks! Off to bed right now, but will check in the morning.

A Pinterest search for grid cards brought up these.
Grids and Mosaics found these.

Because people have different names for them, searching in the galleries here for "sampler " misses out some lovely uploads...some people call them shadow boxes, and THIS ONE which is tucked into my personal Favourites, isn't even called that. If you have time to skim through the Framed Art gallery, you'll find more than simply searching for "sampler" - though that is certainly what I call them. It does take more time because the Framed Art category covers a lot more - so it depends on whether that's something you have more or less of ;-).

thanks for all the help. I wish I had seen these sooner, would make a great Christmas gift. Do you think you be able to make these so you could change out the design depending on the season/holiday?

I've never made these myself because I don't have space to display them. I would THINK if you attached Velcro dots to the backs of the stamped pieces and the corresponding Velcro "teeth" to the spaces in the frame you could make them interchangeable.

I was thinking more along the lines of just switching out the whole design for each season.

Yes!! I have a summer and autumn one for myself, I just change them in the frame. I've been working on a Spring one as a gift, then I'll be making myself a Christmas/winter one. I just keep the ones not in use in a pizza box. The only thing is to make sure that it's easy to take the back off the frame to swap the samplers out. I had to add screw-eyes to mine to get it to hang better than the fixing that was on it - so I had to make sure that I put them into the actual back of the frame, whereas if I didn't need to keep swapping things out, I would have screwed them in sideways.

I often make this style of card to use up oddments- offcuts from other projects, things that didn't stamp out perfectly, and so on.

I either just theme by colour, or maybe subject.
