This week I was just sitting in my craft room looking over my dies with love in my eyes. As a result, I was inspired to sponsor a challenge about Spellbinders Dies! Don't worry, you don't have to use Spellbinders dies if you don't have any....just use whatever gets your creative energies motivated! I used the beautiful Spellbinders Pinterest board by Cindy Hill. It's a really great board that gives you the flexibility to make a card inspired by the die alone, or by a project/card, or just use the colors, textures, and shapes in the photos! I'm sure you'll find something that you'll enjoy there!
Challenge Goals:
Please don't be tempted to upload a card that you have made prior to this challenge, just because an image on the board reminds you of it. Rather, take the challenge of allowing your creative juices to flow based on your impressions when you look through the images. Remember, it can just be the color palette or style that ignites your creativity. Whatever draws you to the designs, take the challenge of doing something uniquely inspired today.
Please remember that all inspiration links should be inspired by images from the Spellbinders Pinterest board by Cindy Hill. You definitely don't have to keep the table dressing theme, you could simply be inspired by the colors and/or textures you see. If you are unfamiliar with how to grab the hyperlinks from a Pinterest Board, here is a helpful video:
Use the keyword: IC572 (no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card, and make sure you put commas between your key words.
For those of you who say you get overwhelmed with having too many images to choose from, I've uploaded 10 of my favorites below. So just stick with one (or all) of those for your inspiration. Click on the images below to see them bigger and to get their links on SCS. Don't forget to let us know which photo served as your inspiration piece please.
How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Remember, if you are inspired by the creation of another artist, please do not use print-outs of the art in your creation or directly copy their work. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Also, remember to link to your SCS gallery on this thread. Thank you for joining me on this inspiration journey.
Some gals are going to go to town with this challenge....for me it WAS a challenge. I no longer add all those layers to my cards....and, as a result, don't buy many of those elaborate framing dies. Thanks for the "push".
No Spellbinders here, but plenty of Sizzix Dies. Here's my card.

I only got my Big Shot a few months ago so only have a limited number of dies to work with . . .That said, today's inspiration board has inspired me to spend a TON more money on dies! LOL I hope you'll check out my card and the description of what I learned in the process today - TFL
Audrie, what a fabulous Pinterest board you have chosen. So mnay beautiful inspiration pieces. I got inspired by the whole board, but used the following card as my main choice. https://www.pinterest.com/pin/532902568392525718/

Inspired by the layered poinsettia card- I went with a reverse cut wreath shape, with striped green dp underneath. Added a soft red flower with seed pearls, and a popped up decorated tree. Finished with a twine bow, and mini picture frame with a gingham tie. Here's christmas wreath

Great challenge, Audrie - it REALLY challenged me as I never add so many die cuts to a card. I decided to CASE one of the white on white card - another thing I rarely do! Here's my card:
