Oh. My. Gosh.
If you have not been to your local Target recently beware of the dollar bin section!
So many CUTE Christmas things!! If you like to make shaker cards this is the place to get your sequins and glitter! They have some shaped like reindeer!!
Small wood embellishments in the shape of trees or snowflakes, washi tape, ribbon, tags, small fabric gift bags....I spent $8.00 just on dollar stuff alone!
And there are cute fabric zipper pouches for $3.00. Somehow a red and black buffalo plaid one ended up in my cart!
Don't forget a stop at your Goodwill's! I just picked up 5 huge brand new containers of embossing powder in perfect holiday colors at 50 cents each! (They had 4.95 price tags on them). Score!
Thanks for the Target reminder. I will be in the area of one tomorrow and will make a point of popping in. I found many cool crafty things for Halloween/Fall. Paper pads with copper foil accents were one of my favs.
Just got back from Targs...loaded my cart at the Dollar section :p I think I got 5 packs of the glitter, got the reindeer and the trees ...so fun, will be perfect for some Christmas shaker cards. I also got some craft snow, teeny tiny white balls...I think I found the last pack of that. They had some little packs of kraft and red smaller cards (just checked..they are not foldover cards but you get 20 so the envelopes alone are a deal) with envelopes for $1 each..also a pad of dp...think that was $3....I saw those checked zipper bags...very cute...Thanks for the heads up...I don't always remember to look at that section ;)
They have always been good, but I think when they started adding items that were a little more costly I got even more tempted. I bought a few of the blank table runners that I decorated for Thanksgiving and gave my SIL some of the cool banner making stuff with the Fall theme. Then I went back and bought more table runners to decorate for Christmas. Good thing I'm 45 miles from the nearest Target though you've tempted me to find a reason to go out that way!Thanksgiving Table Runner Table Runner 2
I was at Target today and saw all of the Christmas goodies mentioned. Got a cute 6x6 pad of paper and have been trying to think of something to use the little wooden reindeer on. Have any of you used those yet and if so, what did you make?

I considered the 6x6 craft dsp with the gold print. I loved it but have so much dsp. I already have my Christmas card planned for this year. So it would just sit.
Now I wish I had gotten it as I have a use for it through work. maybe it's still there. I will be out there tonight and will check!

For those of you who picked up the dp pad here's a card I made with the green plaid and red shiny paper.....I want to make some shaker cards with the reindeer and snowflakes sequins but haven't gotten to that yet...maybe this weekend ;)
Really cute Polly. I grabbed some of the wood accent deer along with some of the pretty glass jars and the colored berry baskets. I've got some green glass bottles I've been saving and thought the red jars would look pretty with them for decorating at Christmas. I often give away food items at Christmas so I think the cardboard baskets will make nice containers.
Did anyone come up with fab ideas for using the small wooden reindeer in the Dollar Spot @ Target? I got a package of them but I guess I'm saving them for next year! Ha.
