I love love StampinUp Cherry Cobbler. It is a rich dark red as opposed to a bright red. Goes well with nearly any colour! Here is a card I made using Cherry Cobbler.
Real Red from Stampin'Up is a great basic, bright red. Just what I think of for "Christmas" red.
But I also love SU's Cherry Cobbler. It is a little darker, a little richer red but still awesome for Christmas. And of course you can buy the matching ink pads.
Those are the two reds I use the most. Gina K Designs has a nice selection of red card stock and I think she has been releasing matching ink pads as well. You can't go wrong buying from her place. It is a great company and great customer service.
My only purchase of colored card stock from her was in a fall kit a few years ago and it was all of a slightly heavier weight than the colored stock from SU. So that's something to keep in mind when ordering.
I should have been cleaer in my OP. It's my well loved SU real red that I am replacing and thought I'd see what else is out there. Thanks for all the suggestions
My Favorite Things has 3 great reds. The colors I'm seeing online at their website are a bit lighter than they are in person. Red Hot is not a faded-looking red. Their ink is great.
Another vote for SU! Real Red or Cherry Cobbler with the matching cardstock, patterned paper, ribbon, embellishments, etc... I don't know if the other companies do that.
Favorite? Oh my, I love them all. I use Real Red, Cherry Cobbler and even Poppy Parade, which is a bit bright, but tends to match much of the ribbon I can get at Joann's I even have the retired ones and used them all this year for my Christmas cards (all 70 are different) from Ruby Red and Riding Hood Red through Cranberry Crisp, Baroque Burgundy and Bravo Burgundy. Don't know what I'll do when I run out of what I stocked up on---especially the Burgundies.

Do you have any need for a full roll of Cranberry Crisp stitched ribbon? I sold my CC CS and one roll of ribbon, but have one roll left that I will never use. If you can use it PM me your address. It's on me! No charge.

Thank you so much!!! How kind of you, but I bought an extra roll when it was being discontinued and still have lots. Maybe someone else will see this and take you up on your very generous offer. Thanks again.
