Default Need help finding a new similar ink color

I love SU's Cherry Cobbler ink......but I don't like their latest ink pads. I would like to purchase a different brand of ink with a color similar to Cherry Cobbler. Does any one have any suggestions??

Well, what I do is pick up two reinkers and a blank pad from blockhead stamps and make my own in that same color... (but they have closed) so let me see if I can find you a blank pad somewhere else...

this is a foam style https://www.amazon.com/Tsukineko-UI0...=blank+ink+pad

(but, the ones I have are the hard felt pads like the original style SU pads only with no ink on them)
my mind just went blank on what to tell you to search for but, I know they are out there somewhere. ( I am at work so, I can't run upstairs and see if there is a name on any of my pads)

S.U. sells small uninked "cubes" that are felt. You could use a reinker and a cube and make your own pad.

you can buy the reinker, and SU sells non inked ink spots, apparently the old style, this way you can make your own and still have Cherry Cobbler.

You can also get Ranger Cut 'n Dry Felt and cut it any size you want and use the reinker with that...

I do recall Kevin from Stampscapes saying that Marvy, although discontinuing inked pads, were carrying on with reinkers and blank pads.
While I think about it, Tim Holtz & Ranger also are producing blank DI style pads, that you can make your own ombre pads with, but of course you can just use one colour.

Thank you, I just found that ink pad on Amazon. I appreciate all the feedback. I definitely want to try a different company. I am a little tired of opening my SU ink pads and finding the top of the ink pad looking weird and stamping blotchy. I used to Love SU ink but they have made so many changes and I have noticed some of the colors almost separating.

I am getting really good results with brands like
Ranger
Altenew
Lawn Fawn
Avery Elle

I am getting okay results with
My Favorite Things.
Hero Arts Ombr

I do not own any Simon Says Stamp brand ink but would be interested to try

A couple of other brands you should get really good results with: Versafine, which I find to never fail on any type of stamps, and works well on any cardstock. Does dry a little slowly on coated/pearlescent card, but can be heat fixed. Also Memento, again really reliable and dries well. But Versafine is always my goto. Not a huge range of colours, but their Crimson is a good true Red, unlike many which I find to err on the side of orange.

I use Gina K Designs Cheery Red ink with SU's paper. It is a pretty good match.

Thank you so much for the referral! Cherry Red is very close to the Cherry Cobbler. One of my favorite colors for the holidays!
