This Scraplift Challenge has a twist! We are going to scraplift a card!
This is how we are going to do it: Each of us who want to play will post three of our favorite cards. Then we can choose from any of them for our Scraplift. I have been thinking of having a scraplift of cards for awhile, and Joyce Ann, (AnniePanda) helped me figure out how we could do this. She reminded me of one of Lela's VSBN challenges. Nancy (Nhagen) actually scraplifted a card last month! So start listing your favorites so we can choose one!
Remember when you post your Layout to link it here so we can see it, and link us in your description the card you scraplifted.
Be sure and use the keyword:SCRAP16octand if you are participating in our monthly goals thread use the keyword: SBC16oct
Remember : A scraplift is when you find a page or pages by someone else in the gallery that inspire you. You could choose to use the same colors same layout, same embellishments ... It does not have to be exact but it should be easy to see what was similar. I can't wait to see what you do!
Here are three I think have great potential for lifting as a layout.
"A Cup of Kindness" by bhappystamper. I see the 3 right panels as photos perhaps. The way she did the layers would make an interesting twist to how one could layer the page.
"FS genesis" by TrishG. Its the layering here again that I think inspires a page for me - the solid base(brown), the pattern layer, then a fancy layer and the final layer. Photos and embellishments can go just about anywhere.
"Asian Shadows" by octoberbabe. Just a nice collection of layers here with the final white panel for the focal photo, even if more photos are also used.

Timing is everything! I had been cleaning out a shelf of "stash" and when I saw this card, it look just like some stickers and paper I'd just found. I also had some pictures just printed that would go with the colors so I finished up this page tonight. Thanks for the great inspiration Sharon
Here are 3 from my favorites list. I am going to try and get a page or two done this week before we meet with the surgeon. DH told me to please go scrap and stop worrying.

I picked my three cards and scrapbooked a layout using inspiration from all three cards - hope that's okay! The first card inspired me to to do some coloring using my Shin Han markers, something I'm not very comfortable with, but I had fun experimenting anyway. This card inspired me to combine a larger title with a fancy font and a smaller subtitle with a plain font. And this card inspired me to add embossing, leaves, and ribbon to my layout. Thanks for a fun challenge, Sharon!
Watch here, and I will post a link to November's Scraplift Challnge this week-end.
First, I am working on prep work for our Encouragement Ministry card making at church this Friday. When I am done with that, I will wok on the challenge. Hopefully we can get more participation. I sure appreciate you ladies' participation!
looking forward to seeing the new challenge Sharon, im hoping to scrap Jack through his first year so I can surprise our DS and DIL with it for his first birthday.
