Okay.. this month's inspiration is going to be a bit different.
For the past couple of weeks I've gone into stockpiling mode. Not craft supplies - I have enough of those. LOL
I've begun decluttering and prepping my food pantry for winter. I'm like a darned squirrel over here. I am so ready for autumn... and not because of the heat. I'm just ready for my favorite season. So this month's inspiration if you choose to play has not one, but TWO options to get the creative juices flowing.
1) incorporate a squirrel
2) use something from your pantry as inspiration.. maybe a soup label for a get well card, mac and cheese for a child's birthday card, etc.
I look forward to seeing what you come up with.

Reason: adding keyword
Well here is my first August Birthday card for one of my BILs. They both have August birthdays, don't know which one will get this one. Sorry Kelly it doesn't have a squirrel. Although, he does have a drink, (from the pantry?) I think he mixed up some cool aid or something.
Maybe the next one! Catching Zs.
Hey all.. I'm going to try and get in here tomorrow or Wed. night to comment on cards. I had all of my teeth pulled last week and I'm not spending a lot of time on -line. I'll get caught up, I promise. I love looking at all of your creations.

Wow, so sorry to hear about all of your teeth being pulled- ouch!!
Will be praying for a quick recovery, my friend- hugs!
How long does it take you to stitch one of your cards? They are beautiful.
Thanks ScrappingCEO. A couple of hours generally. I normally prick a couple when I have time, over a weekend or honesty more than likely in the school holidays, and then I have them by the chair where I sit to watch TV. That's generally when I work on them.
Thanks for asking

This made me chuckle. We are in canning mode here, the BF says we are "storing nuts for winter"

Hey Angie!
My tomatoes are about a month behind everyone else but they are really piling on. I figure they'll all come in at once. I'm making zucchini bread for the freezer today. I thought about trying a batch of bread in a jar to see how they do.

Starting to work on my August Cards for A Cause and this one will be one of the cards sent for the Birthday Party Project (they hold birthday parties for homeless kids at shelters, etc).
