HelloColorChallengeFans! It's Tuesday and time for another color challenge. #591 on the charts for us!
Let's start with the fave from last week. Maura was the hostess and she chose "enjoying the beach from Bev aka guneauxdesigns.
Maura said:"I loved all the great details in Bev's card - the boats, the gulls, the surfer "dude", the beach chair and the little shells! I also loved how she added texture to the sand and the water, and how beautifully she used the week's colors"!
Congrats Bev! The code to add the badge to your blog is attached below, and your card also will be pinned on our Pinterest Challenge board. Check it out here.
Now onto this week's challenge. This week I am introducing one of the new in-colors, an existing in-color, and one of the regal shades.
Are you ready for "mints & flirts at night"?
Mint Macaron
Flirty Flamingo
Night of Navy
Neutrals: of choice (ie: black, brown, white, vanilla)
Dessert:use a die cut- For any new players this dessert option is just an optional item that you can include on your card. It's a little twist to the colors.
I'm at a loss for words!! Wow!! Thank you so very much, Maura, for selecting my "Enjoying the Beach" card as the fav for last week's color challenge!! I feel so blessed!! Big hugs, Maura!!!

For today's color challenge, I was inspired by a wonderful travel program on Japan, especially so by the snowy trees and the temples. I used some holiday dp for my coffee sleeve, adding some artwork to mimic the design. Did some smudging for coffee "steam", and added a simple crescent circle dc. Used some dark blue and a map card for my background. Smudging was done with an artist's sponge. Here's World Coffee

Love these colors, but wont be able to play until much later today. Off to U of M hospital to hopefully find some answers and new treatment for my rheumatoid arthritis!

I added a card to my gallery following challenge rules but being a newbie I have no idea how to get it to the challenge. The card is titled Friendship Coffee.
Here is my card for the, CC591-Mints And Flirts At Night, challenge. I love these colors together. Thanks for the great challenge, and thanks for looking.
I am thankful for the color challenge as you cause me to combine colors that I wouldn't on my own. And, after I do it, I like it! I don't have flirty flamingo so substitute regal rose. TFL.
Mary, you selected wonderful colors for the Color Challenge! The colors are beautiful together! I don't own anything in the Flirty Flamingo color so I substituted Regal Rose. Hope that's ok! Here is my card!
Mary - This is a beautiful combination. Although I know it's fine to substitute a color, I wanted to wait until I got my SU! order with Flirty Flamingo marker and CS. It finally came. Here's my card:
