Ways to use Perfect Paper Adhesive by ArtQuest??

I HATE my senior moments. I am re-organizing my stamping area and came across not one, but two bottles of unused Matte Perfect Paper Adhesive by ArtQuest. Obviously I thought I just HAD to have it---but now I can't figure out why! I don't decoupage or collage, don't do Vintage style. I already "googled" and came up with an old ArtQuest youtube video from 2008 which basically showed collage.

How do YOU like to use it? Please share your thoughts and ideas. Maybe it will help me to remember why I bought it--or give me a new reason to keep it. :rolleyes:

To blueheron-Sadly,we are sitting in the same boat. I will bail if you paddle. I thought I'd use it on my cards but it is way too wet. It was not all that great for decoupage either.

I love this stuff! Try using it instead of Multi Medium Matte to attach embellishments like buttons, sequins, gems etc. It's much easier to squeeze out, and if you use a big blob and drop the embellishment into it, it still dries perfectly matte. It's fantastic for collage and gluing/sealing papers and elements, and I also use it to attach paper flowers etc.

Poppydarling-- thanks for the suggestions. It looks like I now have a lifetime supply of adhesive for embellishments! Do you think it would work to add stiffness for die cut bits? I am always looking for an adhesive to firmly attach delicate die cut words without leaving a sticky residue if some seeps out. Maybe I will try that and see how it works.

blueheron, use spray adhesive for your diecut words. I have a pair of reverse action tweezers I use just for this purpose. Hold your word with the tweezers over your trashcan; a light spray of adhesive is all that's needed. And this works especially well if you're stacking 3-4 layers for dimension.

Doesn't really stiffen paper but it helps make it a little bit more durable. Linda has a good idea; I also squeeze a blob on my craft mat and smear a bit of it with my finger onto the back of a delicate die cut. Like with all wet glues, it's nice to have time to adjust before it becomes permanent!

Uncbballfan--is there a particular brand of spray adhesive you like to use for the die cuts?

Poppydarling--thanks for the info. I will try the Perfect Paper Adhesive AND the spray adhesive (but not at the same time) to see which works better for me.
