I just got home from our local Target and all their $1 stuff is now 4/$1. I was just there yesterday and they were 2/1 but now they are 4/1. I got some small flat type baskets to stamp on. The Snowmen and Santa Mugs for next year. I also got Jiffy Pop containers. I will do some for Winter theme and give gift cards as Birthday gifts. I will include a movie certificate. I did these for the office people at my Son's school and they all loved them this year. I also found 1 wooden box with tea in it. I don't care for the tea but I am planning on painting and stamping on the box. Sure wish they had more. Hope you can find them deals also.
Just at target tuesday and today (different stores) and their dollar stuff was not discounted yet. I did however find 12 sticky notes (bright colored) for $3.99. I thought that was a great deal. It is regular priced too. It was near their stationary/ wrapping aisle.
I was just in Target last nite and they had really cute wine glasses for 50 cents, so maybe they're 25 cents now??? I thought they'd look great with a little stamped vellum shade and a tealight or votive candle.
Also, in the $1 spot - a package of medicine/toiletry holders that I thought would work great for keeping the small stuff (eyelets, beads, etc) - gotta go back tonight!!!

Thanks for the tip. I went on my lunch hour and found DVDs to add to our soldier care package. I also got mini lint rollers which I think can have a stamped sheet added to them and a few other odds and ends. They were putting out the new stuff that is still $1 and I found some great plastic cases to hold projects. These are about a third the depth of the ones I usually use from Office Depot, but they are nice , with a latch and all. They would hold a small project, just not all the ink pads, etc. I am not sure how I will use them, but I couldn't pass them up.
Glad I got in on the goodies thanks to you!
Roberta
Check over the wine glasses carefully if you get them...many of them that I was were cracked where the stem joined the bowl of the glass or at the bottom. Great deal but not if they are broken!
I just got back from my local Target... No great deal there :(
Everything is still regular price... oh well! at least I was able to pick up the cool ribbon holders

Bummer. We don't have a Target, so I'll just have to stick to Wally finds for now until I can make another trip to Buffalo. Oh well, at least the dollar is good now.

I went to Target last night & they didn't have any sale in their $1 area
But - :P - they had these notebooks & cards & heart items!!! I bought some of the notebooks & cards thinking I can do a coordinating set thing - we'll see how it goes!

I was just at Target this morning and I don't remember seeing anything that said 4/$1.00 but I didn't look very hard cause all I noticed in that section was checkerboards, water, and dolls. Not very exciting I'm afraid.
At our Target, it was only the holiday and older-type stock that was 4/$1 . . . the newer stock (as someone had mentioned), cute Valentines' items, etc., were still $1. I still got some great deals, though! Have fun if you find the sale! My kids and I did!
I spotted a neat find at target today on an endcap between the scrapbook and card aisles. They have fabric covered scrapbooks, which I had seen there previously, but now have PREMADE 8x8 scrapbooks from colorbok. There are several different colors for the albums and the interior pages (20 pages) have coordinating papers finished off with stitching, words... I cant remember the price but I think it was 14.99 or 19.99. Just thought I would pass this along if there are any stampers considering scrapbooking.
