CAS (Clean and Simple) Favorites for Week Ending 4/3/16
Hi, all!
Anybody else have a crazy weather day today? We had rain. We had white-out sleet. We had snow flurries. And in between we had sunshine and blue skies. And we had winds that could blow you over. Sheesh! But, hey, on the up side, I got my first Christmas card of the year done - went with that old adage of "When life gives you lemons, make lemonade." Or, in this case, "If Mother Nature gives you winter, make a Christmas card!" LOL!
But enough about that...let's talk CAS favorites! My favorites folder expanded again this week with great CAS cards - how about yours? You'd think that, after a time, there just wouldn't be that many great new ideas and inspiration. But that just doesn't happen - every week I find more great work to add to my favorites. LOVE that about this community - so much talent and inspiration. So let's get to it!
Here are the CAS favorites I found this week: Inspired Chickadee by susanbri Absolutely LOVED Susan's coloring on this beautiful holiday card.
CAS370 Doodled Circles by lisa lara OMGosh - Do you have any idea how long it would take me to doodle this card? Lisa never fails to amaze me with her talent and make me smile with her creativity.
Looks Like You Are Stick With me by Bar I was really taken with Barbara's spotlighting technique - making everything else shades of gray added nice depth to her card and really popped the color.
Rain Dance by TracyMac Tracey's card has fun texture, great colors and a nice layout. But, hands down, it was her fashionista's red boots and umbrella that captured my red-lovin' heart!
Whew! That was a lot (don't hate me, Karen!)
Still, I know there are others I missed - help me out here and tell me which CAS creations caught YOUR eye this week.
Did you find your way to this thread because someone listed one of YOUR creations as a favorite? In addition to saying thank you, we encourage you to pay that smile you're probably wearing right now forward by sharing a few of the cards/projects YOU favorited this week.
Need help linking your Favorites? Follow these easy steps:
1. Load this week's Favorites thread in your first browser tab. Scroll down and click the Go Advanced button.
2. Open a second tab (or a separate window). Go to the Gallery and click on "My Favorites."
3. Click on a card you have saved. At the top, highlight the web address. Hit Ctrl+C to copy.
4. Switch back to the first tab and hit Ctrl+V to paste your link there. Hit Enter twice to add a blank line. Repeat as many times as needed for all your links.
5. Click the Preview Post button and check that your links work. Then click the Submit Reply button.
Thank you to the wonderful Karen for sending card love to these favorites every week. We sure appreciate you taking the time.
I have been so busy getting my house ready this week that I did not have much time in the gallery. I did find some beauties in the little time I had when I was able to get away from packing.

Thank you Carla for picking my get well card for Neil as a CAS favorite this week and thank you Karen for letting me know. You've sent me skipping back into my craft room to make more cards!
Thank you, Lisa! Sooooooo appreciate the mention. Especially since most of the day in the craft room and all I really got were B13 spotted hands (and carpet!) and a bit of frustration.
This is a thank-you from one happy stamper....because of the shout outs on my cards by admired stampers. Thanks to Debbie, Lisa(ShoeGirl), Kia and Lisax2. Thanks Karen for your precious time. Here are some cas beauties I found:
