Challenge Title: Going in Circles
Hostess: Kia (kiagc)
Keyword: CAS370
Date: Week of March 28, 2016 Hello to every one, Kia here ... I hope everyone has had a wonderful Easter. I went and watched the activities with the little children at my local park over the weekend, which is always so much fun. But it seems to me they spent alot of time running in Circles!
Ha -there you have it - this week's Clean and Simple Challenge, let us play with circles. I don't have to tell you there are so many ways to make and use circles on your cards, so I am looking forward to see what you all create.
But, before I continue one interesting fact regarding the circle is that, technically speaking, "circle" refers only to the edge of the shape. When referring to the whole shape, including the space inside, the term "disk" is used. Another lesser-known fact about the circle is that when compared to other shapes with the same area, it has the shortest perimeter, which is the length of the continuous line forming the boundary of a shape. The word "circle" comes from the Greek "kirkos," which means ring. Aside from its importance in geometry, the circle is also used as a symbol of infinity, depicting a line that is never-ending. Here is my card for the, CAS370, Going In Circles challenge. This was a fun card to make. I forgot to add that I put the dp panel through the cutlebug, in my cork ef, it's the only folder I have with circles. Thanks for this fun challenge, and thanks for looking.
Thank you for thinking circles. The challenge helped me get this card in hours instead of days. And I like this water color background better than all my previous attempts. Here is my card
