Hello everyone...it's my turn to host this week's TLC and I have a fun one for you (I think I say that every time but it really is easy!!)...we are going to do some Naked Stamping...no coloring...we will let the background showcase the color!! Here are the deets: 1. Pick out some line stamps that are open enough to let the background show through. 2. Create a colorful background using watercolors, reinkers, sponging, Twinkling H2O's, stenciling...what ever medium you feel most comfortable with. 3. Stamp your line stamps with a darker color so we can see the stamped image and the background you created will show through. 4. Remember, no coloring on the image because we want the background to show.
A fun challenge, thought of bouquets of flowers at work. Here is my Colors of Spring

Had so much fun with this! Started with some aqua painting with moss and dark greens, supplemented with some sprayed water to moisten the cardstock and then inkpad swipes, then inked my seaweed in brown. Combined this with my otter tag- it's for a birthday- and did a bit of sewing on my tag. Here's Otter Card

When I saw the title of today's TLC challenge, I thought I'd have to turn the heat up in the house and pull the shades - naked stamping???? What a relief to find I'd misinterpreted the title! Sorry, Joan, I tend to be very literal. So I left the shades up, left my clothes on and got to work on this card

Had fun using inkpad to paper, using Island Indigo. Added a brown stamped image of a baseball player, from SU's Home Run (around 2003). Added fabric strips for a bit of color. Here's Batter

I tried a new technique for the bg and really enjoyed this challenge. This is my first try in Try a New Technique. I wanted to play along in this challenge since so long and finally I got a challenge I was comfortable with. Thank you Joan!!
