Where does the time go? It seems to fly! January is nearly over. Seems like we just finished the Best of 2015 thread, and now were ready to flip the calendar to February.
Yes, well-- Im getting a bit winter-weary, and ready to think spring. The crocus and daffodils are beginning to sprout, and scs has a hostess call out for the spring virtual stamp night. Theme: Here comes the sun. Ive already submitted an idea for a challenge, and (no surprise here) its math. Happy math! Dont run away! Anyway... Hostessing a challenge is great fun, with chat and sneak peeks at others challenges. Try it. You just might like it.
Ive said it before. I love, love, love this favorites thread. Its an awesome vehicle for encouraging fellow crafters and sharing the best, cleverest, most beautiful ideas. Im always inspired by the projects that are linked here. I totally appreciate everyone who participates to post their favorites lists, and especially the notification team. We generously volunteer our time on Sundays (and sometimes into Mondays!) to send out happy mail.
Heres a couple of the tricks I use to make the task a bit easier: I make sure my links are live. Before I click on submit, I go to advanced, click on preview, and edit any wonky links. I double space my list and color the username in red. I try very hard to have my list posted on Sunday.
Even then, the team will goof up occasionally. It pains me to think that, of the thousands of notifications Ive done, Im sure to have missed some, muffed some, and who knows what else!? I have to grant myself some grace, ask forgiveness, and respectfully request that when you discover a mistake, help us turn it into a lesson. Help us fix things. PM us -- me, specifically, if its my mistake, or if its something the team leader (Thats me...) needs to address -- and keep on posting your faves.
This is the place to link all the fabulous favorites you discovered in the SCS Gallery last week. Everyone is welcome to join in -- check my next post for directions.
Our dedicated team members will be making the notifications: Linda (Holstein), Vicki (vdm), Susie (susie australia), Priscilla (catluvr2), Stacy (JBgreendawn), and me.

I cant say it enoughbig hugs and thanks to all the wonderful notifiers. Thank you Brenda for the tips. The double spacing is easy, now I am going to try to figure out how to make the names in color. It is so much easier to see, however, it took me over a year to figure out how to post my favs, lets hope I figure out how to color the names in less time. Here are some of the beautiful cards I saw this week: FS468, SCSCCJAN16 - Friendly Challenge #2 by ohmypaper! - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers
My picks for the week. Hopefully, this be easier then the last try a couple weeks ago. My fingers and this phone don't always work together. Maybe I'll get it in the right gallery.
I am always amazed by so many stampers on this site. More often then not, I'm overwhelmed by their creativity.
I only had time to join in 2 challenges this week, but while I was in the gallery, I found several cars that touched my artistic heart in some way. Here are a few of those I found to be showstoppers:
Thanks for bringing so much to the gallery, ladies. I know I love the support I find on this sight. Thank you all for that.
Thanks Susie for the notifications. You're a trouper, girl. Being in a different time zone does not make for any easy task to send out all your happy mail. You're a doll, Susie. Thanks much.
Have a wonderful week everyone.
Take time for your passion/s
Hugs, Anne
