Keyword: MIX155
Hello and welcome to the Mix-Ability challenge! Our goal is to make mixed media easy, approachable and FUN! We want to convince you that no matter what your style is - you can DO it!
Your projects can be any type – cards, scrapbook layouts, art journal projects, 3D pages.
This week's challenge: Use watercolor medium (or die inks) with water and let the colors flow together
Uploading: Remember the keyword is without spaces. Use a comma between keywords with a space after each comma.
If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get us stamping!

Thanks for the early post, Jeanne; I love having time to think about what I might do, while at work. I have the dentist after work today so I'm not sure how creative I'll be feeling when I get home!

Since I started dabbling in mixed media, I have found my special ability. I can take a variety of beautiful colors and with a swipe of my wand (brush, cardstock, etc) I can turn them into an ugly brown!
It seems that any combination of Red, Blue & Yellow make brown.
Red & Yellow = Orange & Blue is brown
Red & Blue = Purple & Yellow is brown
Yellow & Blue = Green & Red is brown
and so on and so on ...

Melissa, for me I usually use colors that blend well, like blues and greens. I would think that if you wanted to mix the colors, you might want to mix colors that are close to eachother on the color wheel and then let them dry and then add the other colors. Just my opinion.
So I popped in to see what the challenge happened to be and guess what! I recently did a card I think fits right in. It was my first attempt and I am hooked.
Thanks Jeanne for hosting! Let me know if this isn't quite what was in mind.
