Hi Bridget,
To sign up to the demo forum, you need to click on Join a Group - it's over to the left of this post, in the box headed "Around the Site".
In the list of groups is SU Demonstrators. Click on Join the group, and follow any instructions if needed. I'm not sure how long it takes to be approved, but I'm sure it's not long.
