WT565 - Lose Weight, Feel Great! (01/07/16)

Hello and Happy Thursday, Friends! I want to wish all of you a Happy New Year.

This is the time of year when we all begin to talk about resolutions. We talk about whether or not we make them. We talk about whether or not we keep them. We even discuss the changes that we resolve to make. A common New Year's resolution is to lose weight. I propose that you attempt to lose weight in your craft room. This week, I challenge you to use lots or even all of a particular product. I'm talking about consumables. In our examples today, Sabrina used gems while Lisa used flowers and gems. I used rub-ons for my sample card. You could even dare to use up every bit of that favorite sheet of designer paper you have been saving for a really special project.

You will find those samples attached. I want to thank Lisa and Sabrina for helping me out with wonderful projects. Toni- great challenge! I scooped up some paper flowers, a dc button, and some brads, along with a row of adhesive gems for my embellishments- of which I have many in my craft areas- and paired them with SU's Just A Note and a Fairies stamp. Here's Fairy Note

Well, this image was in one of my heavy boxes of unused items. I added more snow with a white marker to this after I had sponged it with some turquoise ink. I emphasized some of the rooflines and fence just to make them a little clearer. Then I sparkled all the snow with dazzling details. It is so hard to capture the sparkle in the picture.
