Default good quality crayons

im hoping to find good quality crayons, better than standard crayolas. i want them mostly for regular coloring, not so much for techniques or water coloring or blending. do you have any recommendations? are faber castell Paper Crafters Crayons noticeably different & worth the money? thanks for your ideas!

Do you know the brand Caran d'Ache? That's what I grew up with  and it is still one of the best products I ever met. The name is Neocolor by Caran d'Ache.

Maybe it helps

Edit: if you would like to try it, I could send you a part of one piece if you would like to. Just tell me the color you'd like to have and I put it into an envelope (and hope it will arrive)

This page at Dick Block seems to have a lot of information. Hopefully you find it useful:

Don Marco is an amazing artist, and uses only Crayola crayons. Check out his work here:

Nika in Wonderland uses Neocolors a lot in her art at around 4:45 in this video you can see her use them:

Glad you liked it, Diane. I found his work a few years ago and it just blew me away. I always try to share his website on threads like these. It inspires me that he can accomplish so much with so little!
