I think I'm new?

I'm not sure if I joined this group years ago or not... but now I am officially a 'senior' I can be forgiven for my poor memory.

My name is Angie but many think my name is Penny.... that's probably because of my PENNY FLOWERS. You can see what I'm about on my Pinterest ummm the link is...

I've been making and designing paper flowers now for <thinks> 12 years. In 2008 I wrote my eBook, PENNY FLOWERS... since then I've been running a little craft group <laughs> 28 members compared to this wonderful group of ??? I bet MANY members from all over. I work on a design team but my first and foremost passion is my flowers.

I suffer with many health issues but try not to let them stop me doing what I love. I would upload one of my cards but I am not sure of the protocol involved in doing this and where but I'm sure I will learn.

I wondered about the term 'Cardstock Collector' but laughed... if you saw how much I have, that term is quite apt.
I could never be involved in every section here but I'll do my best to contribute when I can.

I'm currently nursing FOUR broken toes (same foot, not the big one) and so I should be sitting/resting for a few weeks... ummm MAYBE??!! <grins> so I shall have a good look around. Oh by the way, I live in Victoria, Australia... that makes me an Aussie.

Hi Angie and welcome from across the ditch (NZ!) You are quite entitled to your senior moments, I claim them too although I am 'only' 54. Meh! Don't worry about contributing to every section - there are a lot in this forum. Find the sections you delight in, and stay there!

Thank you Susie, Ricki, Stephanie and Rita. Running my own tiny group is one thing, but I've wanted a place that I can go to... where I just be a member. I would love to share some of my work with you all... and I will but can someone tell me where I would put it? I don't wan't to get any crosses against my name <laughs> however, I'm sure you make exceptions for 'seniors moments'. Just tell me where and I'll show you my latest creation.

Before Christmas I said I would post one of my cards. Well I am going to show you one that hasn't been posted yet on either my blog or pinterest..

I watched a video of Sue Wilson where she was making an Easel Card. I didn't have the exact dies she used but some of them... I thought with what I had I could have a go. Sue's card was lovely but I wanted a little more colour... so here is my rendition.

Angie your card is gorgeous. So that everyone can see your beautiful card (not just those that happen to see this thread), simply go to the HOME page, click in the bright orange panel that says UPLOAD A CARD and follow the prompts. At this stage, I suggest you ignore step 1 and go straight to step 2 (until you are more familiar with all the different galleries). I hope you aren't melting!!

Gorgeous card. I agree with Susie that you should play along with the challenges. It helped me get connected here on SCS when I first started.
