CAS (Clean and Simple) for the Week Ending December 20, 2015
Oh My...FIVE days before Christmas :-) How can that be?!? I tried to pick CAS easy peasy, but creative and beautiful cards and projects for your last minute Christmas stamping :rolleyes: Enjoy and have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Don't forget to watch for our CAS Favorites for 2015 on New Year's Day. This has become a tradition for our Thread the last several years. Hope you get to join in the fun!
I would like to Congratulate our 2 new Dirty Dozen Team Girls: Kelly aka "kellykg" and Kim aka "KimRStamper" :-) Kelly and Kim are experienced stampers and very crafty girls. A great addition to the current DD Team:-)
I chose a CAS Favorite from both their CT1215 Galleries. So many CAS cards and projects by all the DDT. Do check out the Gallery for awesome ideas.
There are still more, but I tried to stick with the simpler CAS cards and projects. Can't wait to see your favorites this week too :-) BTW, some of my CT1215 Dirty Dozen Girls Favorites were posted before Dec. 13th, but did not go live until Dec. 15th so are ok for this weeks CAS Favorites !
Happy Holidays my friends. What another Fabulous Year of Creative CAS projects and Inspiration!!! Hugs, to you all...Nancy
This thread is open to everyone and is a great way to recognize the work of SCS's many talented CAS artists.
There are really only two "rules" here on the thread:
The Gallery posts you link to should be in the CAS style...
--------------------------------
And what does it mean to be Clean and Simple?
It's all about the design.
* Uncluttered
* lots of white or open space
* one main focal point
--------------------------------
...and they should be from the past week.
Did you find your way to this thread because someone listed one of YOUR creations as a favorite? In addition to saying thank you, we encourage you to pay that smile you're probably wearing right now forward by sharing a few of the cards/projects YOU favorite-ed this week.
Need help linking your Favorites? Follow these steps:
1. Load this week's Favorites thread in your first browser tab. Scroll down and click the Go Advanced button.
2. Open a second tab (or a separate window). Go to the Gallery and click on "My Favorites."
3. Click on a card you have saved. At the top, highlight the web address. Hit Ctrl+C to copy.
4. Switch back to the first tab and hit Ctrl+V to paste your link there. Hit Enter twice to add a blank line. Repeat as many times as needed for all your links.
5. Click the Preview Post button and check that your links work. Then click the Submit Reply button.
Thanks for starting us off, Nancy. I've missed posting on this forum for a couple of weeks as family emergencies kept me tied up a lot. But I'm glad to be sharing my favourites this week, including three by new-to-me stampers:
Thank you, Kia and Susan, for both listing my card among your favorites. I truly appreciate it....always a thrill for me on this thread. Thank you, Karen, for all the time you give each Sunday bringing card makers "happy news". It is a busy and hectic time of year for many and the time you take(all of you) to be thoughtful toward others is to be commended. Merry Christmas! Hugs, Sallie

Thank you Nancy for starting it off today
My apologies to the notifiers for coming in late. My one break today between two important things. I hope I can see what others found later.
Wishing you all a happy, memorable Christmas and a healthy, fun New Year.
Great big thanks to these awesome artists for listing my name among such talent today: Susan (susanbri), Brenda (Benzi), and Linda (Holstein) - you ladies ROCK!
Thank you to Karen for delivering the smiles!

WOW!!!! Goodness gracious! Thanks so much to Susan, Kia, Lisa and wavejumper for adding my A Star is Born to your CAS favorites list! And thanks to Karen for notifying me! What a great way to start my week! Sorry for coming here so late but we had our family Christmas this weekend and I am just now sitting down! LOL! Thanks again y'all!
Sorry I'm a bit behind my normal posting time, but I've been working on a big Christmas project (while being sick to boot, thanks to my grandson;) ). We're making a play kitchen for granddaughters age 5 and 4. "Marble" countertops even!
I am sorry I am a little late in my thanks. We celebrated Christmas Sun/Mon this year because my husband worked all week so I did not visit SCS.
I am thrilled that both Maura (beesmom) and Diane (Fionna51) liked my cards this week!!! Thank you, Thank you for mentioning them on the CAS favorite list.
Thanks so much for your kind comments and favoring throughout the year!!!!
Karen, thanks so much for sending me the happy mail!!!
Sweet Nancy, my apologies for missing your mentioning MY CARD in your favorites last week. I'm not sure how I missed it! I really appreciate those who notify me when someone has been kind enough to appreciate my work so much as to add it to their faves. Thank you again and again!
