Lisa here as your hostess for this weeks WTUI challenge.
Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St Nicholas soon would be there.
When I think of Christmas socks this is the first thing that comes to mind. So the challenge to you is to put a sock on your card, a Christmas sock.
Claire Brennan a/k/a Waltzingmouse shared such an adorable way to present your gift cards with a printable template. Just print the template onto a single piece of cardstock, cut and decorate. No sewing required. It can be found here: Bitty Christmas Stocking gift card holder
If you're not sure how to add a link, here's how:
1. Open 2 windows or tabs: one for your card in the gallery, and one for this thread
2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.
3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)
4. Click EDIT. Click COPY
5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.

Here is mine...I've been making stockings all week trying to finish projects from a couple of years gone by. When I finished them, I just had to make one to go with my mittens.

I went with a double stamped christmas stocking image from SU's Event Full set, pairing it with a warm winter hat image from a McD's hot cup. Used my scalloped tag topper from SU, and added some ribbons/button for my embellishments! Here's Fill 'er up!
