Today's MIX-Ability challenge is a little bit different.
I would like you guys to make a card for our Internet Brands employee who was injured pretty badly in a cooking accident last weekend. She will have a long recovery and she's a very hard worker, so boredom will set in quickly while she recuperates! She does great things for Splitcoast, so if you wouldn't mind making and mailing a get well card, I'll appreciate it. Her name is Alison, and you can PM me for the address.
So here's the challenge:
Two mediums must be used
The card should be postcard style or a card front - so do your artwork on the front and just write your message to Alison on the back so that she doesn't have to open them since her hand is injured. A2 size is fine. (4.25 x 5.5)
Bonus option - something city-themed - she recently moved back to NY.
Bad burns are horrible - I've had my share of minor ones but thankfully never too serious.
Not sure if I'll go for the city bonus, but I'll certainly get something started as soon as I've made a mug of warming tea! Losing effective use of a hand, even temporarily, stinks.
Oh Lydia! I am so sorry to hear this! Burns are so horrific -- I have had my share of them and I know how they feel. I pray that your friend will heal quickly and return to us at Splitcoaststampers!! God bless you dear friend! Jan (Precious Kitty)

Alison had a really bad accident, and is unable to do cards for awhile. This postcard is to cheer her up and let her know we are all praying for a speedy recovery.
Lydia this is a wonderful challenge despite the circumstances.

Thank y'all SO much for the cards you sent me - I mailed them off today - they are spectacular art - you are so kind. And Jan - thank you SO much for the sweet gift for me - you are such a generous sweet lady.
PS - I did get an update - she is still in the hospital and probably won't be released until next week. :( I'll let you know when she gets to leave and resume a somewhat normal life. Thank you for your kindness.
