Challenge Title: To Grandmas house we go!
Hostess: Joyce (Ashjoy)
Keyword: CAS350
Date: Week of Nov. 9, 2015
The holidays are quickly approaching and for me one of my favorite memories is going to Gram's house to make raisin filled cookies. Every year while the men went hunting for the first day of deer season we would bake cookies and have a table full until they came in for lunch. I love those cherished memories. So my challenge is for you to make a card that reminds you of Grandma's house or memories from a holiday past. For me that could be inspiration from the quilt that hangs in my dining room, the snowmen that hang from my tapered candles and of course the embroidery that was always at the side of my Gram's chair. I can't wait to hear and see your memories.

This family challenge, like the kids' hycct challenge, threw me for a fit, because I don't have the traditional family history. Well, I turned ticked-off into thankful. Gratitude triumphs over grumpiness. Here's my thank-you card: TLC559 ninepatch

For this week's challenge I used a memory of a past Christmas since most of my grandparents had passed before I was born. (If I have time I will do a card in memory of the grandfather I knew.)
