Does anyone remember Fashion Plates? You put the embossed plates in the slot, rub over them with a special crayon, and you end up with an outline of a fair maiden in fashionable 70's attire. You could even mix and match the plates, so you might end up with a gal wearing a bridal veil on top and a swim suit below! The back of the plates came with embossed patterns to use in decorating your creation. I'm challenging you to find some inspiration from Fashion Plates. You could either dress up your layout (add 3 or more embellishments), add an embossed piece to your layout, or choose an unexpected combination.
Here is the GALLERY for this challenge...leave a little love for everyone!

Hi Cheryl! I guess I don't understand about the fashion plates, but as long as we dress up our page with three different embellishments? Your page is awesome!
Thank you for the VSBN challenges. I haven't checked them all out yet. How many a day will there be. So exciting! Always love VSBN
Sharon, you can dress up your layout with three embellishments, OR you can add embossing, OR you can use an unexpected combination. There will be three challenges posted daily today through Thursday for a total of twelve. Hope you can play along! Just for fun, I attached a couple of pictures of my Fashion Plates set to show what they are and how they are used, and to show a completed plate with an embossed pattern added using an embossing plate and colored pencils.
Cheryl. You ask about the flowers, on my LO. I did make them. It is a Die and comes out in a long sheet with perforations, and then you pleat it and then glue it on a circle and put a button in the middle, I had a couple already made in my stash. When I saw the orange flowered hat in the photo, I thought they would be be perfect on the LO. . Thanks for the love in the gallery.
