Challenge Title: Don't Color Between the Lines

My first experience with cancer was when I was 8 and my grandfather was diagnosed with lung cancer. I remember sitting in his lap in my living room while he unbuttoned his shirt to show us all these crazy black markings on his chest for the radiation. It looked like a pirate map written in sharpie. It made a big impact.
Likewise, I am always impressed at how much impact an uncolored image can have on a card. It's not something I ever think to do on my own, but when I see others do it I remember that I don't have to color everything every time. The lines themselves are beautiful.
Your challenge is to use an UNcolored line image on your card. If you want to accent a small part of the image with a color or sparkle, that's okay. You can stamp it on whatever paper you want in whatever ink you want, just don't color in your lines.
UPLOADING INSTRUCTIONS:
1. All Hope You Can Cling To Challenge Entries must be uploaded to the Hope You Can Cling To Gallery, with the specific challenge keyword, no later than November 7th, 2015 at 12:00 Noon Central Time to be eligible for our fabulous prizes! Post a link to your entry in this thread.
2. You may not combine challenges, but you are welcome to create multiple cards for each challenge.
3. Please remember to put in the correct keyword when uploading your image. Copying and pasting the challenge keyword is recommended to avoid typos.
4. Please package all challenge entries with an envelope, protected with a clear plastic bag and mail them to our partner at the UT MD Anderson Cancer Center to benefit patients being treated for breast cancer and their family. We would like for them to receive cards throughout the month of October, but we understand if you'd like to mail all your cards at once.

Morning everyone! I'm getting my kids' lunches ready for school, but I can't wait to see what y'all are making!
Oh I so remember those days and packing 6 lunches everyday, 5 kids and then the big kid (DH)! That was before the hot lunch program, but even when it did start, it was "I don't like that"!!

Thankfully, it's just 2 lunches right now! They are so picky there is no way they would eat the school lunch more than a couple of times a month and then I would have to keep up with the cafeteria schedule, lol!

he brown bagged peanut butter and jelly for nearly 10 years... ( somewhere in high school he started eating at the school ( or the coffee shop drive thru's)

Paula- great challenge! I love to color, really had to hold myself back here I went with this cool floral image from my stamping buddies, and added a mini tag, attached with a double baker's twine bow. This is what I say to those dearest to me- HYCCT1505 love you!

Hi Paula - Here's my UNcolored Flourishes for your challenge. Rather than add a bit of color to the image, I added color for the sentiment strip.
I'm surprised at myself for keeping up so well with the challenges so far. I only made one for the first day, but my goal this year was just to make a few. I've even been able to spend a little time commenting each day. After my eye surgery next Monday, I may have to slow down - or even stop for a week or two.

I'm so glad you're getting to play for now! My mom is having cataract surgery probably in November. (She has to time it between my cousin's baby, being born right now! so she can help out with my grandma and my baby, coming in January.) She's trying to decide whether to get the traditional version or the laser version and correct her astigmatism.

(She has to time it between my cousin's baby, being born right now! so she can help out with my grandma and my baby, coming in January.) She's trying to decide whether to get the traditional version or the laser version and correct her astigmatism.
For my left ("good") eye, I'm upgrading from the traditional lens to a toric lens which is supposed to do a lot to correct my severe astigmatism. I should have good distance vision after, but will still need glasses for mid-range & closeup vision. Medicare doesn't cover all the cost of the toric lens, but it's not too much and worth it if I'll be able to see better. I'll go with the basic Medicare lens for the right (weak / lazy) eye. I know people who have the more expensive lens, and they said it really wasn't worth it as their vision didn't improve that much. I also know people who could see great right away after their surgery, while others struggled with blurred vision, eye drop issues, etc. for 4 or 5 weeks. I'm hoping I won't have a real long adjustment period.
