F4A291 There Once Was a Kitty Named Pumpkin (9.18.15)
Hi all! Jeanne here today!
Not too long ago we had a stray (and very skinny) Calico cat show up at our house. It was during the heat of the summer so I put some water out for her thinking she'd find her way home. Pretty soon I figured out she didn't have a home at all so I started feeding her too. Slowly she became friendly enough so that I could pet her. Then one day she decide to let me close enough to pet her and I noticed she was filling out a bit.... well you probably know what is coming next. I kept a close eye on her for the next couple weeks and then brought her inside (she has her own bedroom) and now we have 5 kittens too.
I named her Pumpkin.
My challenge today is to include a pumpkin in your project.

Goodness these kittens are so precious and you are such an angel for coming to this Mommy Kitty's rescue. Thank you! I'd love to participate in honor of Pumpkin and will have something up by this evening.

Jeanne - Wonderful story about your kitty - I understand. Ours starts out with "There once was a kitty named Leo..." Fortunately he was a "he" so we didn't end up with six! You are a very special and kind person to take in a pregnant stray.
