Ponchadoodle Wants to Have Talent
Note: Anyone is welcome to play! You automatically become a Teapotter the first time you play in our challenge. Also, you do not have to write a story. You just have to be inspired by the teapot or by the story about this week's location! Have fun! If this is your first Teapot Tuesday Challenge, please mention that in your commentary so we can be sure to greet you properly, in pure Teapot Tuesday fashion! Your participation in Destination Station is 100% voluntary and not at all required. Just have fun!
The Rest of the Story:
1: Here we are back in the town of Ponchadoodle. Hope y'all didn't pack away your poop-scoopers and shoe covers yet. There is plenty more fun to be had at the annual Doggie Fest Benefit Dog Show. This 25th annual show has really been a success so far. Much of that credit goes to the quick thinking of the ever effervescent EvaMay the stand in show manager and the support of the 42,000 teapotters that showed up to help. The regular show manager just may have lost her position.
2: The puppy parade was a rousing and fun time for all and the much spoiled Golly Poodle managed to be led down the route without causing a major incident after some enterprising teapotter brought along her own spechul brand of doggie treats to help keep things on schedule.
3: Now that the pups have had some time to calm down, the evening festivities are about to begin. The doggie talent show is scheduled to begin and this is usually a laughing good time for all. There will be doggies jumping through hoops, doggies driving little buggies, doggies ballroom dancing, and all kinds of wild tricks. The crowd favorite is usually the doggie clowns though. Sort of like rodeo clowns, they entertain the crowds in between the acts and in place of the acts if a doggie is to nervous to get started on time. All in all they really help keep things rolling along and EvaMay wouldn't know what to do without them.
4: Unfortunately, (well, maybe not) Molly McDoodle and Golly Poodle departed shortly after the parade so EvaMay won't have to contend with that over spoiled pooch and owner. However, when you are dealing with 100's of doggies and their owners, there is bound to be some mishap and she is busy checking things off her list to make sure that she hasn't forgotten anything. It seems like the doggies and their owners are all here and prepping to start, the booths are restocked and ready for more business, the crowds are coming in, the HS band is in place and tuning up, now all she needed was the doggie clowns to get out and start getting the crowd ready for the show.
5: RUT ROH: There had to be a hitch somewhere. The clown doggies are late. This is not good, not good at all. EvaMay desperately needs someone or something out there to warm up the crowd and keep them from getting to restless until showtime.
Challenge Translation:
Bring doggies, bring hoops and balls, bring anything fun even if it isn't talented. Laughs are what is needed right now
