Creating escaped me this week, energy sapped by lesson preparation and worrying about sorting my mum's house - I just need to get on with it!
I did make 30 nametags for a party last night - dinner and dancing with a whole group of Dave's school friends - they are all turning 60 in the next 12 months and met up to celebrate - lovely that they have kept in touch!
Good Sunday Morning All! So nice to wake up to Happy Mail, although at the moment I'm not quite up to the happy dancing just yet! Lol Give me a couple more minutes....Thank you so much, Brenda for choosing my tea bag holder as a favorite this week! Brings some big smiles my way, which I can do even when tired, Big Hugs and Blessings to you and Susie for the notice~

Just a couple from me - I had to spend a couple of days in bed so I wasn't much online, and then pulled a muscle in my back trying to get comfortable so I'm now going round in a cloud of wintergreen .
What a lovely way to end the weekend. Thank you so much Lisa for choosing my weirdo girl card and Polly for choosing my CAS card (very unexpected LOL). I am honoured to be on your lists.
It is almost 11.30 Sunday night. Q, R and S splitcoasties I will be back in about 9 hours with more happy mail.

Lisa (ShoeGirl), Thank you so much for listing my card SuperHero as one of your favs this week!! It was an easy card to make when a brave young man is my inspiration.
And congrats on an almost done construction project. I have several of those going on around here, too!
Thank you Lisa for mentioning my You Suit Me To A Tea card. Your honor put a smile on my face! Thanks Susie for letting me know! I love making Tea themed cards! I will have to get on the laptop after church and post some of my Faves. Hugs!

Big thanks to Francie for mentioning my F4A card as a fav and also to Lisa...I missed seeing the other card you fav'd for the Tea or Coffee challenge! Very happy to see my name mentioned among all these beautiful creations! Thanks to Brenda for the heads up ;)
Thank you Linda (Holstein) so much for letting me know I'm on your Favorites List this week. It's so encouraging to hear. I know it's been such a blessing in the past when I felt my creativity had gone off and taken a vacation. Thanks again.

Thank you ohmypaper and kiagc for mentioning my cards in your favorites! This definitely was a fabulous gift especially since I love your designs so much! Here are my favorites this week (such a fabulous week of cards that it was hard to narrow it down):
A hearty thank you to Jay_Bee (Janine)x2!, kiagc (Kia), Shoe Girl (Lisa)x2!, Susie australia (Susie), and tessaduck (Brenda) - I'm wearing a big smile thanks to you, ladies!
And thank you catluvr2 (Priscilla), for the happy mail!
I havent been making cards, or browsing the galleries since Aug. 24th when we lost our kitty, Misty, to a brain tumor. She wasnt even 10 yrs old and the suddenness of it made it more unbearable. We gave away all our cat stuff to the local no-kill cat shelter. We said wed never go through this kind of pain again. A week and a half later we spent over $350 for new cat stuff and adopted a 6 yr old rescue kitty (spent 4 of her 6 years in shelters) named her Ali. Our home seems complete again.
I wanted to say Thank You to Lisa, aka Shoe Girl, for mentioning my Faux Sequins card in the Favorites- you are so sweet. It is especially touching, as the image I used is a digi that Sweet Stamps named after me! I seem to be in a stage of my life, between 3 kids in their 20's and elderly parents, I seem to be on the GO, GO, GO!!!
Thanks too for the wonderful ladies that volunteer to alert us when one of our posts is favorited. So sweet of you!
Thanks again
Shelly
(PS- I have been adding my Favorite cards to Pintrest....I guess I better start making a file as well to be able to post here)
Oh my .... !
I owe great big THANKS to Francie and Brenda for mentioning my Just for You Fall card! What a super-sweet honor to have y'all mention my card. Big, big thanks to both of you!
