I found these amazingly fun and beautiful cakes on Pinterest and I know they'll be just tasty enough to inspire our Inspiration Gallery this week! It's the Cake Board by Johanna Westin! There are over 1 thousand different designs that are delightful in so many ways! I challenge you to create something brand new this week inspired by one of the photos on this board with me! Enjoy!
Challenge Goals:
Don't be tempted to upload a card that you have made prior to this challenge, just because an image on the board reminds you of it. :cool: Rather, take the challenge of allowing your creative juices to flow based on your impressions when you look through the images. Remember, it can just be the color palette or style that ignites your creativity. Whatever draws you to the designs, take the challenge of doing something uniquely inspired today.

For those of you who say you get overwhelmed with having too many images to choose from, I've uploaded 10 of my favorites. So just stick with one (or all) of those for your inspiration. Click on the images below to see them bigger and to get their links on SCS. Don't forget to let us know which photo served as your inspiration piece please.
How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Remember, if you are inspired by the creation of another artist, please do not use print-outs of the art in your creation or directly copy their work. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Also, remember to link to your SCS gallery on this thread. Thank you for joining me on this inspiration journey.
What a fun site, I could spend hours here....but found a couple in styles I was looking for, but I think the links are not working...will keep trying to fix, but here is my peeking lil Bear... I have tried like half a dozen edits...I cant get the links to work....but one is a 4 teir pastel cake and the other a little bear or pup peeking out of a tea-cup. DH home so much get going for now...will try again later...Thanks

What amazing cakes on that site, Audrie! I almost spent the whole morning there. But I did finally decide that I had to do something creative, so here's my card:

The trick to grappling links on Pinterest is to click on the picture first from the board view. When the picture is the focus of the page then do the same thing you did to grab the links from the other sites. Hope that tip helps.

I L♥ve when you give us boards for inspiration, Audrie! I had a blast looking through all those cakes....only problem is it was making my mouth water and causing me to feel pretty hungry! Here is my leafy card

Audrie- what a cool site! I was inspired by the fall colors of the Pancake and Pajamas cake and went with Sizzix/Tim Holtz's Halloween Words embossing folder for my dry embossing, and added a tag with SU's Four Seasons for my pumpkins and apples. Did some stitching on my tag, and added 2 ribbons and 2 washi tapes for embellishments. Here's Fall Pumpkins

Those cakes are just incredible!!! I had so much fun looking at them. I picked out several that I thought would be fun to use as inspiration pieces. Here are 2 cards that I made (I may make a couple more - they were so much fun):
