Default I can make a few in about 2 weeks if you'll still be

doing this...Lemme know, K?

When is that baby of yours due? I think you're the one about ready to give birth. If not, correct me if I'm wrong. (At least I'm not asking you this in the grocery store because I think you look pregnant and you aren't! LOL)

pffff. . . That's no contribution! I want to REALLY contribute to your cause! Hopefully, after convention!

How are you feeling? Did you hear I am running a little, shall we say clinic over here? If you need to deliver that baby, I am open. I only have one patient who should be arriving soon (schrades). There's plenty of room in the maternity wing. Just let me know.

For now, terrific job, Keri. You deserve a pat on the back! Lana

Lana,
We need Keri for the troop cards - and the great job she does on avatars. Let's not deliver her baby in the clinic with the skunk, please. I'll slip you a $ in FL, but you'll have to be my friend, too!

On a serious note... Thank you all so much for what you are doing in support of the troops!!!! My hubby is active duty AF (19 1/2 years). Our family is preparing for his depoyment to Iraq in September. So many of our service men and women are put in harms way each moment and many of them don't know how much they are appreciated. It brings tears to my eyes when my husband and I are out together and strangers approach him(in his BDU's) just to shake his hand and thank him. So many take for granted their freedom, so I had to speak up and say thank you all for your sincere efforts. God Bless.

Dawn, thank you for speaking up. We are being witty here, but it is certainly not meant to take away from the importance of our troops. Keri is doing a wonderful thing here!

We will pray for you and your family. Just know we appreciate your husband's number of years in the military. Lana

Default update

Keri, thanks for the update. I NEED to know these things. I love babies! Yes, please let us know when anything starts happening. We don't care how graphic you are either. We like that. Do you want a ride on my ATV after your dentist appointment? Maybe I should give you a ride to the dentist. You can have your teeth cleaned and deliver the baby at the same time. Just a suggestion. Geez!

Default More on the way!

Keri, I'll be mailing 40 tomorrow. They're all ones for the troops to send out. I thought this is an awesome way to use my swaps with sets that are retiring. Some of the cards I made, some are cardfronts from swaps that I made into cards. I hope thats ok.

I don't know - ride TO the dentist, clean office, anaesthesia for the teeth cleaning, too. New baby, bright smile. Sounds efficient to me.

Seriously
Keri - 3 entire months solo with an infant, and a how old is your #1 child, starting in Sept/Oct? Does that include weekends? Do you have any kind of help lined up? I know OTS beats overseas, but still ...
Dawn,
God bless you and your hubby. I will keep all of you in my prayers.

Ah yes the three months...SCARY!!!! is the best way to think of it right now...I will have my two year old and a three month old...YIKES!!! Luckily I am froma large family, I have eight brothers, and so I am not terrified but the thought of grocery shopping is a little threatening at times...but Papa Johns delivers!!! LOL
No but seriously, I think I will plan some road trips to see Grandparents and such...that way the time will fly and I will have a little help too!!! And I always say, We can endure anything if we know that at somepoint there is a goal to be reached and an end to it afterall....so I will just smile when I want to cry and stamp when I am up sleepness nights out of sheer exhaustion!!!

Thank you all for your prayers and positive words. I know you all were just joking around, that's one of those things I love about this site. Sorry my "serious note" statement made me sound like a "snooty sue". I too, will be praying for you and your new bundle of joy. I have 4 and will have no more . Officer's training, that is an awesome accomplishment, congrats! Keep up the great work both you and your hubby.

Oh, Lana and Kar...my hubby is from Wisconsin too. Athens to be exact. We love it there, visit every hunting season, oh I mean every Thanksgiving, LOL, I am sure you know what I mean. I think they would cancel Thanksgiving if those die hards weren't able to hunt too.

Hi Keri,
I'll be sending some cards out to you this weekend. I'm so proud of the work you've done on this. Big kudos to you! I remember being pregnant with my second one-my 15 year old, MacKenna- I got so anxious to get her here that I took castor oil in oj when I was 1 day overdue. Oooh, don't do that. I went into hard labor 3 hours later. I almost tore the bathroom sink off of the wall! Then she ended up coming ceasarean because she was breech. Oh, pregnancy horror stories, just what you need. Just don't do the castor oil thing, it works too well. I'll be praying for the safe, fast, easy delivery of this little bundle of joy! Hang in there. And God bless our service men and women! Kim

Kim you are cracking me up!! I told my mom that I would never do the castor oil because I have heard that it really does work...too well. I went FIVE days over with my first and I guess if I can stand it the first time then I will live if this one is late too!! Oh well...we will see!

Keri,

Maybe a stupid question, but are the card required to be red, white and blue? Or can they be anything?

Best wishes on the new baby. They are so wonderful!

Keri, I'm a newbie to this website so...first of all, congratulations on your upcoming bundle of joy. And, thank you for all the hard work that you have put into the cards for the troops.

My question...I've just started using stamps from SU so I don't have a major collection...yet. Is it ok to send non-SU cards?
