Good evening to all my SCS family and friends! Vicki here, and so looking forward to seeing all the wonderful creations that all of you have found. The weather here has been quite warm to say the least today. I just spent a wonderful day with friends, stamping, talking, stamping, laughing, stamping and just having fun. I hope you that all of you have had a great day!!
Those that will be delivering "Happy News" this week are; Priscilla (catluvr2), Stacy (JBgreendawn), Susie (susie australia), Linda (Holstein) and me (vdm).
I did want to send a shout out to our fearless leader, to tell her how sorry I am that she had to go back into a cast, and that I wish her a very speedy recovery.
Although I haven't had a tremendous amount of time in the galleries this week, I did find some real beauties. I look forward to each of you showing me all the ones that I missed.

Instead of quoting, scroll down and either type your response in the Quick Reply box or click the Go Advanced button. This thread will be easier to read without all the same link lists quoted again and again.

Need help linking your Favorites? Follow these steps.
1. Load this week's Favorites thread in your first browser tab. Scroll down and click the Go Advanced button.
2. Open a second tab (or a separate window). Go to the Gallery and click on "My Favorites."
3. Click on a card you have saved. At the top, highlight the web address. (It says Splitcoaststampers: Stamping, Stamps, Card Making Ideas, Paper Crafts & Template Gallery ... and so on.) Hit Ctrl+C to copy.
4. Switch back to the first tab and hit Ctrl+V to paste your link there. Hit Enter twice to add a blank line. Repeat as many times as needed for all your links.
5. Click the Preview Post button and check that your links work. Then click the Submit Reply button

Hello! I always think it was a great week when I managed to get some gallery time and it looks like I did this week!
I am a little later tonight because our son closed on his last night of work of his first summer job! He was full of excitement so we enjoyed a good chat! Every day I am amazed by him!
Even though I did get the chance to see many beautiful art pieces this week I know I missed a good bit so I look forward to seeing what I missed!!!

Many thanks, all! My hand is in a splint full time, again, because intermittent wasn't working. Actually, I think I wasn't complying (?) and was using the thumb too much. The splint forces rest, and makes ice sessions much more pleasant, because I can take the retched thing off! PT uncovered other issues besides the tenosynovitis, so now we know. I have to behave myself. Thankfully, it's my non-dominant hand.
But don't they understand about dtgd???!
It's painful, but under control, and notifying doesn't make it worse. Thanks, Angie, for asking.

This is a pull-me-out-of-my-own-prejudice cards..I am not a fan of text paper but I like this very much. I really embrace these b/c they force me to think in a bigger way. I have some text bg stamps that I never used. This makes me re-think that.
I am sure I missed a lot b/c I have so little time so I want to go cruise all of your picks!

Thanks Vicki for getting us started this week. I sure hope everyone had a good week....it really has been one lazy hazy week of summer around here. A big thanks goes out to Vicki, Nancy, Angie, Gail, Maura and Brenda( hope that hand gets better) for mentioning my cards. Sure gives you the push to keep stamping. I have a huge apology to our fearless leader and hope that she will accept. I am so sorry that I left you off the notification team in my beginning post. This has been a rough week, as last weekend I lost my little Allee to a freaky accident. She was only 3 1/2 yrs old and my sunshine..... so my mind is not functioning on all 8, hehe, not that it did anyway, but more foggy than usual.... Brenda I did not mean to leave you out, as you are notifying under a semi-handicap-- with the cast and everything... I appreciate all that you do for this thread and wanted to let you know.....
