I've been trying to find a comparison between the cardstock offered by Fun Stampers Journey and SU. Is the weight and/or "hand" the same? What about the color selection?
I have all the SU and FSJ cardstocks, and for most part the FSJ colors are the same thickness as SU.
The only exceptions is FSJ still has a couple colors (3) that are in textured cardstock, but they still are the same thickness. The colors being offered in texture v. smooth is a Bazzill thing when they were bought by AC. The textures will be phased out as soon as the colors are offered in smooth.
As for color selections, I love both. We all know SU has had a fabulous palette for years. Regarding FSJ, for being as young as it is, I think they really nailed their color palette with 44 colors out of the gate!

OK...I'm Jealous...ALL the cardstock? Then you are well stocked!
On the FSJ textured, will that eventually be available smooth?

Yes Karen, I own all the cardstock colors of many companies (SU, FSJ, PTI, Amuse, Bazzill Card Shoppe and Gina k.). It's kind of an obsession with me (and poses a slight storage issue). So if someone has a specific color comparison question I am always happy to check.
Thanks Christine for posting my cardstock comparison pages, I forgot I did that a few months back.
I think FSJ phasing out the textured cardstock is more of a mfr issue vs selling current inventory issue. From what I understand most of the color palette was available in smooth and after the merge of Bazzill and American Crafts some colors capabilities we're only available in texture. As they become available in smooth they will transition over. I will ask Richard and Kim again to make sure.
since we are talking paper/cardstock here - I thought I'd mention that FSJ just added Pearlized black/white/silver/gold cardstock, too. They also added Designer Vellum! It is so much fun to have additional options with cardstock/papers! I am kinda a paper hoarder........
