Default Looking for a former blogger that did mainly CAS cards

I have been absent from card making except when I have to really pull together a card at the last minute. Then it is always a one-layer CAS card.

Several years ago, and maybe she is still blogging, there was a gal who did mainly one layer cards. They were always just beautiful, and I do believe that the current weekly category named CAS cards came about because she wasn't posting anymore, or moved on to her own business - not really sure. Does anybody remember one or two of the ladies that did strictly one layer cards and are their galleries still open? When I do a search in the gallery, I don't recognize the name although there are some gorgeous cards!

I would love to start making cards again, but with my limited time of working full time and being a foster mom, the one layer cards appeal to me the most. Thanks!!

JulieHRR (Julie Ebersole) always had nice one layer cards, too.
Here is a link to her blog: Paper Trufflez

Ardyth? Splitcoast Gallery -

We've had the CAS category since 2009 - was it before then? Maybe if you look through some of those older galleries you'll find her - Clean and Simple Cards - Splitcoaststampers

Also check out the One-Layer Simplicity Blog: One-Layer Simplicity Challenge

A group of cardmakers (including Susan/Lateblossom and Ardyth who were mentioned earlier in the thread) started up a monthly challenge strictly for one-layer cards, and you'll find some pretty cool stuff over there.

Although some of those cards are not timesaving They'd take a lot longer to make than something with layers. When you go one-layer only, there's no room for covering a smudge with a new layer!

Yes, Susan aka LateBlossom used to run the challenge on her blog but decided to ask some of us to come on board with her and start our blog OLS challenges which has a new challenge every month.
Her cards are great. Ardyth's are too...they are both super cardmakers.
Actually, EVERYONE mentioned above are super!! great cas cardmakers.

Hahaha - I agree that there is no room for covering up mistakes! But I have been known to add an embellishment or two over some smudges!
