February is the month of love, and I hope you love this new single-page sketch! It's based on a 12" x 12" scrapbook page, but feel free to flip, resize, alter, or do whatever you need to make it work for you. Minor tweaks are expected, but if you feel a major overhaul is needed, you might browse through some of the older sketches for inspiration. There is no time limit for sketch challenges, so use them at your leisure.
If you play along, please share your hard work with us and upload to your gallery! Make sure you add Sketch15Feb1 to your keywords (additional keywords are OK, just separate them with commas), and PLEASE post a link here in this thread; we would NOT want to miss it!
I have mine done and took pictures even, but the color is way too *rappy to work with so I will have to wait until tomorrow. Great sketch by the way!! I think I will be using that one on a couple more layouts!
Finished my page for this sketch. I actually started a page the other day, put photos on it, but couldn't decide how to decorate it and put it aside, will likely turn up another day.
Then I thought about these two photos and decided to use them, but had to turn the sketch. Sketch15Feb Wedding Kids by AnniePanda - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers

Loved doing this sketch & I had the perfect photos! It's too bad the colors don't show up better because the sage shadow worked very well with these photos.
Thanks, Joyce Ann! Sometimes I'm not sure I select the right colors. I a photo that I want to use for another LO that will be opposite of this one. I think I'm going to use the same papers but change them up & I'm hoping it looks OK. The photo has bright orange & blue then a green that is VERY close to the bright green in the paper. I laid the photo on the paper & it looks OK to me. Plus I think a mat may help. I hope to start working on it later.
I also have a question... how do I put the bulk letters like Sewflake for people to click on instead of the whole link?
thanks
If you want to put the title of your layout in your post instead of the link appearing, simply type the title of the layout, select it (click and drag using mouse), and then click the link emblem. Paste your copied link into the box that pops up. Hope that helps.

Thanks, Cheryl! I also wondered how to show the name & not the entire link. A friend had given me the instructions but I lost them when my computer crashed last year. This is so much easier! I'm going to give it a try next time I upload.
