WT525 - Elements of Earth, Wind, Fire, or Water 4/2/15
Lisa here as your hostess for this weeks WTUI challenge.
I am so excited for this weeks challenge. This week we will be showing in our cards the elements. I had some really wonderful ideas and alas ran out of time to make another but I am sure you will have many fun cards to keep me smiling at your wonderful creativity. So grab your supplies and show us your cards using one (or more than one if you wish) of the elements of Earth, Wind, Fire or Water.
If you're not sure how to add a link, here's how:
1. Open 2 windows or tabs: one for your card in the gallery, and one for this thread
2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.
3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)
4. Click EDIT. Click COPY
5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.
We have some fantastic cards this week from the very creative team. Please see Cathy's card, Sabrina's card, Linda's card and Toni's card.
Lisa- awesome challenge, thanks! Went with the Earth elements- I picked up this cool brown and lace notecard from a thrift store yesterday- added a flourishes/floral stamped image, and a dc and embossed green grapes element. Background is a corrugated cardboard woodgrain embossed panel. Finished with some smooth brown twine. Here's Wood and Plants

...And here's another: Blue Lake Geese. I made it a couple of days ago but hadn't entered it into any challenges yet, and someone recommended I submit it for this one. Hope that's OK!

Lisa, for your Earth Elements challenge, I brought wind and water (sun.) My concept is a little "different" than others in the gallery but that's what makes creating fun! I was inspired by a painting on Pinterest, which was one of two inspiration sites Audrie gave us for last Saturday's IC challenge. THANKS for looking!
