My Tombow glue keeps drying out while the bottle still has glue in it. I keep the lid on the bottle when not in use. I read somewhere about pouring glue into Gaunt bottles and I ordered them, but i can't get the glue out of the original bottles. Please help
I just stick a pin down into my Tombow to free it up - I do it pretty much every time I use it. I think you'd lose a lot of glue transferring it. I think that Amazon has different nozzles that you can put on the bottles - but the pin is easier
I give it a solid "thrust" to free the movement of the glue. It is a special touch - too aggressive and then nothing comes out. And I crumble the dried glue off the tip with my finger and thumb first.
I store mine (with the tops on) upside down in an empty prescription pill container. No air gets in at the small end and I don't have to shake the container to get the glue to come out. Works great.

Agree with pulling out the plug, using a pin to unclog the tip, and storing small tip down since I never use the large tip. When it get's down the end of the bottle I use my craft shears and cut off of the top and use a Q-tip to get to the very last drop. At about 1/2 through the bottle I have a lot of goo on the outside of the bottle so I cut off the label and it's all clean again. When I cut off the label the bottle looks like cute little Christmas trees. I always think I'll decorate full bottles as gifts for my crafty friends, maybe this year. : )
I store mine in a shot glass, small tip down with the cap on. When I use it, I take the cap off, but put it back into the shot glass with the tip down while I'm using it. This keeps the glue the in the small tip and if there is a drip (which i haven't had much of), I can clean it out of the shot glass easily at the end of the project.
I was thinking about why I don't have a lot of goo on the outside of my bottle - and it's because I can't stand it ... So I invented a survival practice.... I use my snail to put tape all the way up to the corner of my edges, and I use small amounts of glue on the inside of the panel or layer. I do not let the glue go near the edges, and therefore I don't have to wipe off any glue that might have seeped out. My fingers stay un-goo ed and so does my bottle!
That might be a little more expensive but I get the best of all worlds.... Snug corners, no goo, and very secure panels. :cool:
I do as karjor does. Stored it a little can I decorated and with cap on until I'm using. Then as I use I put in can with cap off until finished. I use tombow mono multi more than any other adhesive now. I just wish I could get larger containers of it.
