Default Stash Busters March 2015, Week 3

Welcome to the March Stash buster challenge! The purpose of this challenge is to use up items that have been in your stash for a long time. I will post a new layout every Monday to (hopefully) inspire you to dig out something old and get it on a page! If you dont have one of the required elements, please dont go out and buy it...the idea is to use up the old to make room for the new! Use a suitable replacement instead and have fun! Those who choose to participate and complete all the weekly challenges for the current month, will go into the Stash Buster Hall of Fame

Heres my page for week 3 and the requirements. Feel free to complete a one or two page layout .
For you digi scrappers, look at your old elements and pick out accents that are comparable to play along!

For this weeks requirements I put together this layout: One Year

1.Mulberry or Vellum paper: I used both on this layout. I used mulberry along the torn edge of the patterned paper and I used vellum for the frame on the flower photo.

2.Die cut an element: I used one of the first sets of the thin dies I purchased. For this layout, I die cut the title flower and the vellum frame. I used the insides of a heart border I cut on my eClips for the arrows.

3.Something Green: I used the green vellum and the patterned paper has green on it too! The word sweet is actually printed on the paper...worked out well to use it in the overall layout.

When youve completed your layout, upload it to the gallery so we can admire your creativity.
Please use this keyword in your completed layout to the gallery so we can see the pages you create: Copy and paste the keyword: STASH15Mar3 to make sure it gets to the right gallery.

Heres the Gallery: March Stash Busters

Here is Luau! Got it done. Bet you thought I wouldn't do it! LOL
I have the other two stashbusters printed off and hope to do them soon, too.

Thank you for all these challenges to use our stash!

Gotta get busy...I think I've said that before! I know I have Mulberry paper & would love to use it so I'd better start digging!

well...last time we had a "vellum" paper challenge and I couldn't find my stash of paper, I set the bag of scraps aside so I would be able to use it. SO...bonus for this one, I have some scraps of vellum! ;)

Talking Oh ... Even Better

YES! While digging through my stash I was so excited to find a package of Vellum CM Christmas Phrases. No telling how long those have been in the box but they were PERFECT not only for my page but for the challenge. I added a green Christmas tree and some gold glitter ornament diecuts I also already had in my little box of cut outs .... I used the SCS Sketch #3 for March too so it all came together

I think this might be the first time I've played Stashbusters. This was a lot of fun! Thanks, Ann!
