There is no 'deadline' to completing your Christmas cards for August,
It's never to late to join....
You can join anytime during the year. . If you need to skip a month or two, that is perfectly fine.
Ok, I know I do not have furry friends on these. One was made last month that I forgot to add the Christmas card challenge on. I now need 18 to make to get caught up after these two...I am way behind now.
Finally a change in our weather and it's cool enough to work upstairs in my little craft room! So here are two cards for the August theme of "furry friends" using my two favourite animals:
My second card for August, using a sticker for the furry friend image. The biggest challenge was coloring in the frame; I'd forgotten how detailed that image can get!
I just did two for the Technique Lovers Challenge. They don't fit the theme but they will be part of my quota. And the third card is a feathered friend rather than a furry friend.
big huge pats on the back to all those able to craft in this heat!
I have to go upstairs to my tiny craft room in the attic first thing in the morning and prep the pieces for my cards, then bring them downstairs to colour them, put them together, etc. as it is a bit cooler on the main floor! It's been such a hot summer here in Vancouver, Canada!
