Default Best way to attach a removable embellishment?

I'm working on my Valentine cards for my girlfriends (planned back in January, just getting around to it now, better late than never LOL As my friend says, hearts are always welcome )

I'm including a Valentine-themed bookmark inside the card, and would like to secure it lightly so they can remove it. What are some options? I'm thinking a rolled up Glue Dot?

Do you have a repositional adhesive runner?
Or do you have a two-way glue pen? I think with those you let the glue dry then it is easy to stick something but make it nonpermanent.

Only permanent tape runner and out of two-way but that reminds me to get some! Thanks for the ideas.

Can you attach a ribbon or twine to the card and tie the bookmark in?

Those are all great ideas. How about a decorative paper clip?

I've used slits matching the pattern background, straight slits on solid background, and ribbon to frame the bookmark with the top unsecured except the corners (with a matching image beneath so the card doesn't lose its focal point).

I would use Dotto from Stampin'Up. It's the best thing I've found. I homeschool my son and use it all the time to hang up weekly lists and notes on a foam core board. It comes right off. I did try a repositionable adhesive from Micheals, but that was a disaster. It only came off one side but was stuck to what I put it on. The Dotto comes right off. Just rub your finger across it and it rubs off, no residue. Perfect!!

Have you considered a magnet? You could use a small piece from strips they sell at craft stores or cut up one that ads come on. That way you could put it anywhere on the card that you wanted to (even hide it under a piece of card stock.

I bought the perforated blade for the rotary arm on SU's trimmer. I make my card a little bigger and create the bookmark on the side and use the perforated blade so they can just tear off the bookmark. Hope that makes sense.
